In my series focusing on top ranked uncommitted 2024s this part four takes a look at combo guards, players with the ability to play on the wing as well as around the paint. The 2024 season is stepping into the post season and prospects continue to be signed by colleges of all levels. Dozens have already committed. The first three parts in the series have covered bigs, point guards, and shooting guards. Take a look below at the top five unsigned combo guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='265116' first='Kyla' last='Herfkens'], 5'9", Emporia - I have included Herfkens with combo guards due to her ability to play on the wing and inside. Over the years several PGH Scouts have reported on her play and I have had conversations with club and college coaches as well. She is well regarded as a player who can create her own shot and I have witnessed her strong play against more than one committed NAIA prospect in the class. She is among the few players who are legitimate stretch four candidates. She has a solid frame and does a great job of calling for the ball where she wants it in her post-up game. She finishes through contact and works well on either side of the screen and slip/roll/pop game. She rebounds well on both ends and defends all five positions with physicality.

[player_tooltip player_id='606249' first='Harley' last='Baker'], 5'7", Basehor-Linwood - A United Kansas Conference first team selection in 2023 Baker is putting up 10.6 points and 3.9 steals per game. That follows on the 11.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.7 steals last season. She was once described as a player who is good at being in the right spot whether it was to score or to rebound. A confident player Baker scores at all three levels and has an especially solid face-up game near the rim. A strong free throw shooter, it is unwise to give her traditional three point play opportunities. She brings that same athleticism and physicality on the defensive end as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='300799' first='Chloe' last='Curl'], 5'10", Ulysses - Curl is a intriguing prospect due to her length, athleticism, shot blocking, and jump shooting ability. While she has a slightish build Curl finishes well through contact. She scores well with either hand and has good handles working in transition as well as the half court. She has yet to come close to her ceiling of potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='265122' first='Lexi' last='Jacobson'], 5'7", Southeast of Saline - Jacobson has been an integral part of the Trojans success her high school career, including the team's strong showing at the 2022 3A state tournament. For years she has pretty much abused smaller guards. She is faster with the ball than most players on other teams are without it, explodes to the basket off the bounce and to the ball when rebounding, and uses her lower body well to work them over on post-up opportunities. She also uses her physicality defensively to disrupt basket attacks. I would love to see her with an extra split second of lateral quickness but at the next level that is guaranteed to be developed.

[player_tooltip player_id='335961' first='Cyrenity' last='Hardy'], 5'8", Lawrence - "Tank" has been a player I have loved watching play for several years. She has always been a fast, athletic, and physically strong player. Hardy has also been among the top defensive guards in the state for years too. What elevated her stock as a prospect is her confidence shooting the ball. The talent has always been there and she shoots the jumper with elevation. A well rounded, high motor prospect.
