Players from Freshman to Seniors performed well and many had some outstanding performances while on the center stage. We recently released our 2026 rankings and a lot of the Sophomores were on center stage in the Florida State Playoffs. In this article, we take a look at some of the top performances rendered by some of the 2026s. Some of these performances by these highly ranked players were so good, they made a serious and legitimate push toward the top of the class.
Jasleen Green Jasleen Green 5’9″ | SF American Heritage (Plantation) | 2026 State FL was all of that and a bag of chips in the 5A finals agains Daytona Mainland. Green finished with 27 points (10 of 17 from the field, 2 of 4 from behind the three point line). Green was super impressive with her handles and her ability to get into the heart of the defense anytime she wanted to. Green got to the rim and finished with the left and right. Green also had a few nice assists and 4 rebounds from the guard spot. Green’s performance was one of the top performances I saw over the two week championship period. It was special and on a very elite level.
Kendall Perry Kendall Perry 5’8″ | PG Dr Phillips | 2026 State FL . showcased her talent in the trip to Lakeland and all wasn’t recorded on the scoreboard or in the scorebook. It was very impressive to see how much she and her elite Senior guard depended on each other. Their chemistry was apparent, especially in tight moments and when the defensive applied greater pressure. Perry handled the ball very well and could go right or left equally. She had some very nice scoring plays and her elite passing and court vision were also on display.
Serenity Hardy Serenity Hardy 5’8″ | PG Winter Haven | 2026 State FL had two 4 point plays in the 7A semifinal matchup against Dr Phillips. That was just one of her story lines. Hardy’s overall game was another. The sophomore guard can flat out shoot the ball. She has a great feel for the game and knows how to put the ball in the basket. She shot it well off the catch and seemed even more dangerous when creating and shooting off of the dribble. Hardy also handled the ball well, attacked off the dribble, and played well in transition.
Taniyah Davis Taniyah Davis 5’8″ | PG American Heritage | 2026 State FL finished the Championship game with 12 points, and had a very impressive overtime performance. Davis entered the overtime period with 6 points. Early in the overtime period, Davis had a errant pass that Mainland turned into points. Afterwards, Davis connected on a three point shot from the elbow on the ensuing possession. A few moments later, she set up in front of her bench and knocked down a corner three. Davis played well and in addition to her clutch shooting, she also recorded 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Her performance showed versatility and lot of resiliency.
