Perry can handle the ball and utilizes a great basketball IQ to understand the moment and get her teammates involved. She can also take it upon herself to score the ball. She has a nice shooting touch from the perimeter and can hit the midrange shot as well. Perry is ultra competitive and does what it takes to make her team better. Watching her in the State tournament, her physicality was also impressive. She doesn’t mind getting physical and drawing fouls to get to the line. Perry also rebounds well from the guard position.

She showed an ability to score at all three levels and still handle all of the ball handling duties and be a playmaker. Perry has beefed up some and played with a lot more physicality. She threw her body around and wasn’t backing down from anyone. Perry rebounds well from the guard position and pulled down 9 in the semifinals. The talented guard does a little of everything on the floor and her versatility makes the case.

Kendall is easily one of the most well-rounded players in her class. On the defensive side, she uses her length and speed to get in passing lanes and alter shots. She’s smart about reading her opponent’s eyes and body to get a step ahead of who she is defending for a steal or at least a deflection. KP had 3 steals in both of their games in Lakeland as one of the shiftiest players all week. Going to be a big spring/summer for one of the most versatile players in the state!

Playing on the defending champions’ roster, she is no stranger to what it takes to make it all the way. Not only does Perry’s experience set her up for a big postseason, but her ability to light it up from behind the arc will also put a lot of pressure on her opponents to keep up, scoring bucket for bucket. She is shooting an impressive 47% on the season. With several top players graduating last season, Perry has stepped up in the assist category, averaging 4.1 APG. Her experience and the tough schedule they’ve faced this season will undoubtedly have her prepared for another championship run.

She has a calm demeanor under pressure, controls the game, and never lets the defense rush her. Especially when she shoots the ball, you won’t rush her shot—she has great balance as a shooter and knows exactly how much space she needs to get it off. As one of the top snipers in the state, you always need to know where she is on the floor. She’s a streaky shooter—if she hits two, expect more to come.

Kendall’s calm demeanor also makes her a great playmaker. She makes tough passes and always keeps her head up while handling the ball well with both hands. Last season, she averaged 10 PPG on the well-balanced 7A state champions, who secured their third consecutive title with a talented senior class. Look for Kendall to significantly increase that scoring average as she aims to lead her team to a fourth straight state championship.
