Durrah gave me a glimpse of a variety of ways her game has progressed after catching her a few years ago. I was fortunate enough to catch her via LIVESTREAM, I rarely see some of the shoe teams because of numerous platforms as well as lack of rosters but her pull-up jumper in transition immediately had me smiling, She’s added more explosiveness and saw the floor both in the set and the open court. She did a good job defending “on the ball” and her upside is still high

Etienne is another player who has shown improvement each season since junior high when I saw not only next level potential but D1. I see she’s on a new team and blended in nicely yet she also showed she could take over offensively when needed. She created her shot under pressure, elevated and dropped it with a hand in her face but her deceptive first step was also nice as she kept the defender off balance to attack and score off the dribble

Green is a player who has so much potential that it’s no telling how high she will land over the next few seasons. Let me start with her being a “long and athletic” guard, that too is the base and put in major minutes starting for one of the areas top 6A schools this past season. Off the dribble, she finishes using good body control and after contact. She also showed she could smoothly drop the midrange, while being defended and on the flip, her defense was solid
Harmon is one on many explosive young guards in the state yet she also falls into that #sizedontmatter group I have been hashtagging since, well forever. She is intense, on both ends and her “on the ball” defense at times is smothering. She also can drop it from mid to long-range, her numerous moves like the HEZ in transition is fun to watch, so are her blazing passes in traffic for assist opportunities
Burns has been “BURNing up the nets” from distance pre-high school yet I suggested she put it on the floor more to score off the dribble as well as add the midrange, she’s done both. When you factor in her size, she can overpower smaller guards around the basket, her rebounding on both ends, and handling the ball afterward, at times to go coast to coast to score or dish speaks volumes about her versatility yet she WANTS to keep improving and her work ethic tells me she will

Teuton grabbed my attention years ago yet her performance during the playoffs, without their talented post who had inked a D1 offer and was out with a knee injury, showed what I always say “the game starts at the 1”. I hadn’t really seen her in a couple of years yet she put her team on her back by controlling the tempo and running the squad yet at the blink of an eye, she scored however she wanted and got the ball to the right teammate as her team made a nice run
