Ashanti Taylor is already an excellent ball handler being able to know how to move with the ball to get the opening or make the nice pass. She is shifty with her moves blowing by her defenders and stopping quickly for the jumper or taking it all the way to the rim. Her shot from deep is certainly fun to watch, and she can handle herself in the paint battling against contact.
Blythe Cunningham always seems to be in the right place at the right time whether she is making cuts without the ball finding the openings to put up her shot, or she is jumping in front of a pass on defense grabbing the steal. She can handle the ball herself pushing the tempo up the court, or she does a nice job running plays executing them perfectly to get to the right spot to score some points. She doesn’t back down from getting inside to grab rebounds.
Kyilah Brown knows how to get to the ball on both ends of the court. On defense, she can easily pick the pocket of her opponents and push these steals up the court to score off of these turnovers. On offense, she is constantly moving finding the openings and attacking the gaps to score off the pass. She can also handle the ball well knowing how to create her own space to score off the dribble.
Kennedy Moore is a state champion already this season with her O’Neal School teammates. As a starter, she knew how to show up and be ready to play knocking down her shot from deep. She does well moving around the perimeter and filling the open lanes knowing how to make the spacing right on her team’s offensive sets. She can handle the ball, too, pushing the tempo when needed or slowing things down to get a play set up.
