It’s the time where we see new faces in new places, new groups joining together, and a whole lot of action as it pertains to high-level basketball throughout the country.
In this article we highlight a program that has some rich history. Throughout the past five season, this program has been ranked with in the Top 25 throughout the country on their circuit because of their success. This success is no mistake. This program does things right and they try to build up their prospects over time. They aren’t the type to go out and try to persuade amazing players to join them because of their name. Instead, they just keep their heads down, mind their own business, and they continue to grind. This Spring/Summer season I’m excited to see what this group is going to be able to put together a whole. They have several teams at the high school level, that should all compete at a high-level over these next few months. I think it’s only a matter of time until we see headlines popping up at the tournaments that they are competing in, about how well they are doing as a whole.

Addison Sullivan Addison Sullivan 6’1″ | CG Blair | 2025 State NE joins this 17U UAA group after coming off of an impressive high school season. Throughout her last few months and really her entire high school career, she has shown her worth on the court. Sullivan is a 5’9 Guard, that I would consider a Small Forward or Combo Guard in most cases. She has demonstrated that high level ability to knock down shots from anywhere behind the three point line, while being physical enough to mix it up with bigger players inside the paint. Depending on who is on the floor with her at that moment in time, she can move and produce at several different positions. She can step up and play the perimeter as the 2 Guard, she can move to the 3 position and work within 15Ft, or she can post up smaller guards that maybe defending her. There is a lot to like from a prospect like this. I’m sure she is going to work hard and make the most of her chances on the court. If she can do that and somewhat produce like she did during the high school season, she is going to be someone we hear a lot about moving forward this Spring/Summer.
Highlights
When it comes to Elsa Vedral Elsa Vedral 5’10” | SF Omaha Marian | 2025 State NE , we are talking about a quick thinking Guard with long arms and an act for getting her hands on the basketball on the defensive end. Vedral is someone that is going to be able to create for her fellow teammates off the dribble or she can create for herself after attacking her matchup. She is the definition of a smooth operator with the ball in her hands and I’m sure that will be on full display this AAU season. This team is stacked with a bunch of prospects who could compete at the next level. If Vedral plays her cards right, she could turn out to be one of the best in the end but we will have to see how this all plays out. When she is confident in her game and locked in on her matchup, she competes with a next level edge that you need see to believe.
Izzie Galligan Izzie Galligan 5’9″ | SG Millard North | 2026 State NE and Millard North didn’t end their season how they would have imagined but that has only motivated everyone on that roster more moving into the travel season. Galligan is a Swiss army knife when it comes to her play-style. She is a natural guard, that can shoot it or distribute it at a high rate. Over the past 3 years, no matter what court she is on, she has produced in one way or another. This is another Guard that can move around to a handful of positions and be successful. She has shown that time and time again. I’m not sure what collegiate programs have reached out but I’m sure there are a handful that are keeping an eye on her. She has the “it” factor and that is something you can’t teach. You are just born with it and from an outside perspective, she has it.
Kimora Jenkins
Kimora Jenkins
If Kimora Jenkins doesn’t have an offer or two by the time the high school season comes around this upcoming Winter, then I am missing something because she is the definition of a spark plug. Jenkins is a 5’7 Guard, that can assist her teammates in a big way or she can knock down shots from deep. She is someone that can be moved around the perimeter to any position needed, while continuing to produce at a steady rate in those moments. In my opinion, the best ability that Jenkins has is her ability to shoot it from deep. She has had some record breaking games over her past 2-3 years at the high school level and this is only the start. More times than not, she is catching it, stepping into her shot and knocking down big buckets throughout a contest. If her shot happens to be a little off one game, she has a fundamental handle with great side-to-side body movement to get into the teeth of the defense for an easy finish, closer to the basket. I’m not exactly sure what her role will be within this group but if she can find that out early this Spring season, it will help everyone be successful. Something I’m more-so expecting, rather than questioning.
One of the tallest players on this roster will come to us in the form of Kylee Paben Kylee Paben 6’1″ | SF Millard West | 2026 State NE . Paben is a high rated player out of her 2026 Class and for good reason. More times than not, she is dominating inside the lane with her ability to rebound and clean up the mess on the glass. She has fantastic coordination, touch on the ball, and balance in almost all situations that she is presented with. I’m hoping that this is going to be the AAU season where Paben shows her confidence to its fullest. If she were to get a little angry but stay in control, she would be even more of a handful for her opponents and that is saying a lot because she has demonstrated that she is someone opposing teams need to account for already. If they don’t, she is going to have 20-10 before halftime, every time she takes the floor.
One of the smaller but more deadly Guards from this group comes to us in the form of Lilly Stobbe Lilly Stobbe 5’6″ | PG Platteview | 2025 NE . Stobbe embodies what it means to be a PG in my mind. She understands the strategic part of the game, she has the ability to pass in every which way you can think of, she always controls pace of play, she can get hot from deep in a hurry or going to the rim off of the dribble, she always has her head up looking down the court, and she can get after it defensively. Stobbe leads by example and that is something you love to see from a coaching perspective. I wouldn’t be shocked if she put together one of the best seasons of her life over this next 3-4 months. She has displayed all the intangibles to be great. Now it’s time to put her hard work to the test.
Highlights
The only Iowa player that made this specific team’s roster is Lynnae Green of Shenandoah Community High School. Green stands as the tallest listed prospect for this group at 6’2-6’3, making her one of their enforcers in the middle of the lane. Green is skill in a number of different ways but she is going to be tasked with feasting on the inside of the pain this Spring/Summer. Something that is more than possible for a prospect of Green’s caliber. If she can catch with her back to the basket in 1 on 1 situations, it’s going to go really well for this group as a whole. She has shown over these past few years that she is someone that everyone can trust in to get a big bucket or to get a stop near the basket when it matters the most and I don’t expect that to switch up moving forward.
Molly Ladwig Molly Ladwig 5’9″ | CG Omaha Skutt Catholic | 2025 State NE is a true Shooting Guard, that is going to be able to excel with this group of players that they are going to put around her this AAU season. Ladwig competes for Skutt Catholic during the high school season and she has always been someone that has made plays. When it gets to this level of basketball, the question that presents itself is: Will she be able to do on the AAU floor, what she has done during the high school year? My answer is confidently, YES. The reality of the situation is that shooting translates to any level and the way that Ladwig can shoot the ball and work off of that alone, is going to help her EAT these next 3-4 months. We have highlighted several high level prospects from this group, that will get a chance to play at the next level and Ladwig would be in the consideration as one of the best. She has demonstrated a nasty handle, clean pull up off of both the catch and dribble, and the awareness to get several steals per contest with her quick acting hands. This team is poised for success and Ladwig is going to be a BIG part of that.
A prospect that displayed an experienced game this previous high school season was Reese Murtaugh of PLV High School. Murtaugh is a high energy, high motor player, that is very good at running her team’s offense. She is an offensive threat in her own right but I think she is at her best when she is passing to an open teammate and cutting off of that pass. This Winter she committed to compete with D2 – Jewell University once her high school career comes to an end and I can’t wait to see how she fair’s in that program. They run a style that is based on being in shape and getting down the floor in a hurry, two boxes that Murtaugh checks off when it comes to her evaluation. She constantly displays that she is good at getting the ball off of a rebound and pushing it down the floor in the open court. If she can continue to do that, while feeding her teammates and finding holes in the defense for herself at a steady rate, she will thrive with any program she is lacing up with. No doubt about it.
