AAU Season – Live Period: Intriguing Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This weekend there were several different prospects that competed across the country for a plethora of college coaches. That's what you get when you sit down and watch Reese DoVooght compete. DeVooght would be categorized as a fundamental Shooting Guard, that can play on or off of the basketball. She has demonstrated that she can knock down shots from deep off of the catch and once she see's one go in, she can really go on a run from behind the three point line. This weekend she has been keeping it simple and showing up each contest at an efficient rate. Hopefully she can keep this up moving into high school season and be the difference maker her Urbandale team will need.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["889435"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='889435' first='Macy' last='Schneider'] may on be a prospect out of the 2028 Class but she displays poise, knowledge of situational basketball, and an above average skill level. As of most recent, Schneider put on a show in her first two contests of the weekend. In her first game she registered 24 Points, while in her second game she registered 11 Points in a big group effort. They ended both of those contests with a Win and a big reason for that was because of the play of Schneider. There is still a lot to learn about this one but from the looks of it, she is going to continue to be someone to know over these next few months.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["833952"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='833952' first='Avery' last='Banks'] has shown throughout the past year that she is some one that has had some really nice moments throughout her seasons. She displayed that she can lead her team's offense, while being a difference maker with her active hands and quick feet defensively. To kick off this AAU season, she has been doing much of the same by making opposing coaches have to worry about her in almost every contest. Banks is someone that can get hot in a hurry and when she is having a good day, she is someone that can change the outcome of a contest in a hurry. I'll be watching to see if Banks can keep this play up throughout the season as a whole. She has put together a really nice weekend these past few days so it's something that is definitely possible in the long run.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["777226"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Someone that has proven their game at a high rate over these past six months is Maryne Franken of Sioux Center High School and Sanford Sport AAU. Franken is a Guard with great size and wherewithal. She stands right around 6'0 and she is lethal in the category of scoring the basketball. She demonstrates a picture perfect shooting stroke from any where on the floor, while being patient enough to make sure she is getting the best look possible. What really impresses me about Franken's ability is that she is starting to capitalize on her size at a more steady rate. She is backing down her smaller matchups and scoring over them in a number of different ways, while playing well on the defensive side of the ball. If she can continue to compete at this pace and she continues to expand her game. Palmer is a lengthy player, that has a versatile play-style on both ends of the floor. Offensively she can work inside to out, scoring the ball at a consistent rate and she can currently defend 1-5. She has shown up the past few games in different ways.
