Dycus:
Ella Ryan Ella Ryan 5'10" | PG Brentwood | 2025 State TN , Brentwood, I don’t like feeling like I’m picking the highest scorer here….but sometimes the best scorer is often the most valuable player. Ryan averaged 24 points per game this year while pouring in three 3s a game. Brentwood has been phenomenal this year, and Ryan has played a huge role in that?
Honorable Mention: Leilani Washington Leilani Washington 5'6" | CG Nolensville | 2025 State TN , Nolensville– The ‘25 is just a terrific two way player. In their opening round region tournament win over Centential, she had 22 points and 16 rebounds. She was not going to let her team lose….and that’s what an MVP does.
Meade:
The roundtables may continue on but I can’t dispute Ella Ryan Ella Ryan 5'10" | PG Brentwood | 2025 State TN for MVP! When we stated before that she is a sensational basketball player; She truly is just that! She is going to make a team at the next level extremely happy, that is for sure! She is going to have a breakout senior year too. I’ll definitely follow her through AAU too. She is definitely a top prospect!
Honorable Mention: Natalie Barnes Natalie Barnes 5'7" | SG Coffee Co. | 2026 State TN , Coffee County
- Region Most Improved
Dycus:
Abby Bryan Abby Bryan 5'10" | SF Lincoln County | 2025 State TN ‘25, Lincoln – The ‘25 wing turned into a star this season. She put up big time scoring and 3 point numbers, while also becoming a valuable rebounder. She’s top 5 in her class in made threes.
Honorable Mention: Mary Elizabeth Fox Mary Elizabeth Fox 5'9" | SG Page | 2025 State TN , Page – Turned into a 1st team all district player this year, as her scoring and playmaking numbers all took a jump.
Meade:
Ava McIntosh, Coffee County- I know that Ava has seen this award before, but she is truly deserving. Ava does a lot of the dirty work on a talented Coffee County squad! She is one that does her job, knows her role, and excels at it!
- Region Freshman of the Year
Dycus:
Just impossible to pick anyone other than Jules Ferrell Jules Ferrell 5'7" | PG Coffee County Central | 2027 TN , ‘27, Coffee County. The freshman PG is running the show for a 30 win ball club. How many freshman have the poise to pull that off?
Honorable Mention:
Mia Hauptman Mia Hauptman 5'9" | SF Page | 2027 TN , Page
Brylee Fly Brylee Fly 5'11" | SF Wilson Central | 2027 TN , Wilson Central – Nearly averaged a double-double for a really competitive Wilson Central tem.
Meade:
How can one dispute Jules Ferrell Jules Ferrell 5'7" | PG Coffee County Central | 2027 TN for freshman of the year? Honestly?! What Jules did on the court as a freshman was remarkable! This is a ‘27 that will be known widely and her stock is going to continue to rise every time she steps on a basketball court!
- Region Players to Watch Next Season
Dycus:
Lily Espelet ‘26 Page, The sophomore put together some truly fun stat lines this year. For example, in Page’s regular season finale, Espelet went for 14 points, 16 rebound, 4 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks. She’s put up near double-doubles all year long, with big rim protection numbers too. Her and Mary Fox will form a nice tandem next year.
Meade:
In a region full of talent, you can look at players from Page, Lincoln County, Coffee County, and the list goes on. Keep your eyes on Audri Patton Audri Patton 5'8" | SG Coffee County Central | 2026 State TN and what she does to help Coffee County reach the state tournament again!
- Region Most Fun Team to Watch –
Dycus:
Lincoln County– Coffee is an easy selection here….but I really have enjoyed watching Lincoln try to catch them. Lincoln isn’t scared. They have two legit all-district kids ( Abby Bryan Abby Bryan 5'10" | SF Lincoln County | 2025 State TN is a star, but Molly Brown Molly Brown 5'8" | SG Lincoln Co. | 2025 State TN is really good too!)
Meade:
I have to go with Coffee County here. The team was so much fun to watch! The entire team is made for winning! If one can’t tell, I think very highly of this Coffee County team! One can say the same exact thing in regard to Page High School too!
