It does not matter where one goes throughout the southeast.

Despite its reputation as a football region, one must not overlook how competitive the southeast is in terms of basketball. This is not only seen in the high school and college ranks, but also at the AAU level as well.

One of the many travel teams throughout the area taking to the roads throughout the spring and summer months is [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United'] 2025 Reese. Among the states represented on this year's roster are Florida and Georgia.

Without further adieu, here is a look at this year's [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United'] 2025 Reese team.

[player_tooltip player_id='914241' first='Makiya' last='Trusel'] – The [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United'] 2025 roster displays that it is very guard-heavy. Trusel is one of those guards, but she displays versatility as well. Trusel has the ability to play at the three in addition to being a one or a two.

Sarah Davis – Davis is one of four representatives on the [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United'] 2025 Reese roster from Camden County. The Wildcats, who will move from 7A to 6A beginning in 2024-25 finished last season with a 21-7 record.

[player_tooltip player_id='897274' first='Bryonna' last='Grimes'] – When someone is playing up in class by two, that player must be doing a lot of the right things on the court. That is the case with 5A St. Augustine which concluded the 2023-24 season with an 18-4 record.

J'Mya Albertie – Albertie is another representative outside of Davis from Camden County that is on the [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United'] 2025 Reese roster. In addition to what she gets done on the basketball court, Albertie also competes in track and field events. She averaged 7.8 points and two steals this past season.

Akeelah Sawehinimi – Another 7A Camden County representative, Sawehinimi is also a multi-sport athlete. Similarly to Albertie, she also competes in track and field events alongside what she does on the basketball hardwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='914878' first='Shelby' last='Gaines'] – Gaines will bring natural chemistry to this year's [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United'] 2025 Reese roster given that she and Trusel are both teammates on 6A Oakleaf. She also competes in flag football.

[player_tooltip player_id='743362' first='Lavin' last='Savage'] – Savage previously was at 6A Fletcher before she transferred to Impact Christian Academy. The stellar play that she has displayed earned her an offer from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Ta'Karie Powell – Powell brings a noteworthy height advantage to any team she is on as she stands at an even six feet. The 4A Ribault team she was on concluded the 2023-24 season with a 16-6 record and a deep run in the state tournament.

Dasmine Cooper – Cooper is the fourth of the four participants on the team hailing from 7A Camden County. She showcases her versatility with an ability to give a team worthwhile minutes either in the backcourt or in the frontcourt as a three forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='514674' first='Grace' last='Griffis'] – Along with Grimes and Gaines, Griffis is the third of this year's [program_tooltip program_id='715943' first='Southeast' last='United'] 2025 Reese participants that will be playing up in class. She is the lone representative on this year's travel team from 4A The Rock.
