handled the rock with confidence and patience and regardless of the defense that was thrown at her she remained calm at the point guard position. Housey’a basketball IQ is off the charts. She makes a conscious effort to involve her teammates and if they are open a pass is likely coming their way. Housey does a good job of feeding the post and swinging the ball to her shooters. Housey has a switch when she needs to score more or take over a game. Offensively, Housey can get to the rim, she can score, and she is savvy at drawing the foul and getting to the free throw line. Housey can shoot the midrange and she is a good three point shooter too (in the set offense and in transition. She can the three in the set offense or in transition.
Jasleen Green Jasleen Green 5'9" | SF American Heritage (Plantation) | 2026 State FL was fresh off of winning a State Championship and played very well during the Sunshine Showdown. Green has the ability to get to the basket, utilizing hesitations, crossovers , and head fakes. Green has a high IQ and has a great understanding of the game and how to create scoring opportunities for herself and teammates.
Alanna Tatum Alanna Tatum 5'6" | PG University Christian | 2026 State FL did a nice job of running the point on the 17U team during the Sunshine Showdown. Taylor does a good job of spreading the ball around to her wing playwers and getting the post involved as well. Tatum is a cool customer on the floor and keeps her composure under pressure. Offensively, Tatum was a force in the midrange area and in the transition game. Tatum was also a standout on the defensive end. Her on-ball defense was pon point and she was tasked with defending some of gthe best point guards in the State this past weekend. Tatum’s athleticism really showed up against elite talent. She was up to the challenge and played very well

was impressive handling the ball and seeing the court. Her ability to shoot in the midrange and the long range were equally good. What really stood out was her passing on the break. She had two back to back series where she had the defense on its heals and dropped two dimes to players who were filling the lanes. Davis had a very good weekend of ball and was a standout.
Paisley Binswanger Paisley Binswanger 5'7" | CG Sarasota | 2026 State FL did a good job of getting to the rim and drives with a purpose. She does a good job of handling the ball, handling the pressure and shooting from the mid range and behind the arc. Binswanger is a three level scorer. She does a good job of getting the ball to her teammates, especially after drawing the double team.
Stephanie Vega Stephanie Vega 5'7" | SF Somerset Silver Palms | 2026 State FL is that designated sniper on the court. At the Showdown she ran the floor and handled the ball well. She is a reliable player on the wing in transition and can score the ball in a variety of ways. The majority of shots came from behind the arc on Saturday and Vega can shoot the ball with the best of them. She was definitely one of the top 5 shooters in the building.
Laila Allen Laila Allen 5'7" | PG Timber Springs | 2026 State FL ran the point guard position impressively during the showdown, and showed a lot of athleticism on the court. Allen is a natural point guard who is comfortable with the ball in her hand. She ran the offense well. Allen has speed and quickness and get into the middle of the defense and create problems. She can get to the rim, shoot the floater, and has a smooth midrange jumper. She was also impressive on the defensive side of the ball.

showed some versatility and some clutch three point shooting down the stretch in her team’s upset victory on Saturday. Beyer’s bread and butter is the long range three point shot, but she can get to the rim and draw the foul and get to the freethrow line. Beyer had a few nice finishes at the rim with the left and right hand. Beyer is a versatile scorer who can score at all three levels.
