MBA Mother’s Day Classic: 2025 Honor Roll

With so many highly-ranked prospects and college coaches in the building, the atmosphere was electric. She put her foot down to burst by defenders and score an impressive fake pass left-handed layup. Alena drove by her defender, came to a jump stop in the paint, and created space with pivots to score with her left. She combines height, strength, and skills to effectively play as a wing or guard. Addison used a hesitation dribble in transition and then blew by her defender with a crossover to score at the rim. She has great awareness driving downhill to draw help defenders and kick the ball out to open shooters for assists. She deflected a pass on defense and chased down the ball to gain possession. Addison caught the ball in the corner and used a low rip to explode by her defender then transferred the ball quickly to score with her right off the glass. She demonstrated off-ball spatial awareness by sliding out for an open look on a teammates drive and flew down the floor with speed in transition. Elisha knocked down free throws and scored an off platform mid-range jumper over her defender on a drive. She used a low rip to beat her defender on a drive through the paint and scored a full speed layup off the glass. Lakely imposed her will on defense inside, blocking multiple shots with ferocity. After beating her defender and drawing the help, she kicked the ball out to an open teammate on the perimeter for an open look. Imani had her outside shot falling for her as she drilled a corner 3 and another triple from up top. She scored a transition layup full speed and defended forwards inside without fouling using great defensive positioning.
