[player_tooltip player_id='764451' first='Macey' last='O'Brien'] of Columbus Catholic comes in at #12 in this Update after putting together a positive Spring AAU season and an impressive Freshman year of Varsity high school ball. O'Brien is a playmaking, game changing guard, that understands her lengthy arms and quick athletic ability. She is someone that is very good at leading her team with the ball as she comes down the floor, while also being a main shot blocker on defense. When you scout players, it's obvious that most don't like to play both sides of the floor but not in this case. With O'Brien, she could just play defense for an entire game and she would still be a main producer for her squad. I'm interested to see where she can take this momentum from here but for now, she has been killing it.

[player_tooltip player_id='655384' first='Campbell' last='Schulz'] is someone that stepped on the Varsity floor last year, helping her North Polk team make it to the State Tournament and I'm sure that will be the same situation this upcoming Winter season. Schulz has a picture perfect shooting stroke, a smart head on her shoulders, and she possesses the ability to adapt in the blink of an eye if need be. The North Polk Comets are going to have a chance to make it back to the Well this season. Especially when you have prospects like Schulz in your back court, who understand how to compete at a high level.

The mixture of size and skill of [player_tooltip player_id='833966' first='Lizzy' last='Frazell'] is something that stands out to anyone that is watching her compete. Frazell has long arms, an explosive first step going either direction, and she possesses a soft touch on the basketball. At this pace, she could turn out to be one of the best prospects out of her 2027 Class if she works hard enough. She has all the intangibles to be a difference maker as long as she is motivated so truly, the sky is the limit. She should continue to put up big numbers this AAU season for her Attack program and then she should ride that into the Winter this upcoming season but we will just have to wait and see.

At this point in time, [player_tooltip player_id='833953' first='Callie' last='Hales'] is one of the most well rounded guards on the floor out of this 2027 Class. Hales leads by example, she can handle the rock equally well with both hands, and she understands how to attack her defenders in a plethora of different ways. This AAU season for her [program_tooltip program_id='712617' first='Lady' last='Pure Prep'] team, she has been fantastic. She has demonstrated that she can produce competing against her own age level at a high rate or she can play up an age level and still kill it in a number of ways. Either way, she is on the correct path to play collegiate ball, she just needs to stay locked in and continue to perfect her craft.

[player_tooltip player_id='751962' first='Eleanor' last='Coughlin'] of Saint Albert High School and Team Factory AAU is someone I've seen a few times over the past couple of years and every time I sit down to watch, she seems to get better in some aspect of the game. Coughlin is a multi-sport athlete, that knows to play her game whenever she see's the floor. She is someone that is going to help you out without hurting you too much a majority of the time and that's something to notice. This upcoming Winter season, Saint Albert is going to have a chance to make some big time waves in their conference and a major reason for that will be the play of their younger prospects, like Coughlin. If they can make a solid game plan each and every night, this is a group we will be hearing a lot about moving forward this upcoming 2024-2025 season.
