2028 Player Rankings Update: New Additions

Heintz is an individual that stands at 6'1, she moves decently for her size, and she has demonstrated some strong post moves this AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='712617' first='Lady' last='Pure Prep'] team. Not to mention, she can impact the defensive side of the floor with her length near the rim. I'm expecting Heintz to see the Varsity floor here and there this Winter with her Nevada High School team. She is a guard that has a quick handle, a smart head on her shoulders, the ability to create for others off of the dribble or from the perimeter, and her situational awareness is higher than most her age. Within a program like Treynor, it can be tough to see the Varsity floor right away. For AAU ball, Dorrity is playing up an age level and competing with the [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 15U EYBL team for the season, something that is very impressive knowing the other highly ranked prospects on that roster. Dorrity is someone that can be a difference maker by the looks of it. She might be able to step into the Saints offense and make her mark right away with that group. Riehle is only listed at 5'4 but her game speaks volumes. She is very active on both sides of the ball, getting her hands on a ton of loose balls in the open court. She doesn't seem to ever take plays off, understanding that defense wins ball games. All while understanding her own ability and where her team finds most of their success. She is going to play right away at Crestwood this Winter and I'm sure she is going to put up some impressive numbers while doing so. Smid is a lengthier prospect at 5'9 and she plays more of a Forward position. With her size and skill level, she is going to have to continue to expand her play-style as she gets older if she sticks at her current height. I'm going to get to see Smid at the start of next week at the DCG Summer Shootout, along with their other returning prospects. Hopefully they can pick up where they left off last season and show their dominance once again before everyone gets back into AAU ball for the month of July. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
