BCAT Notes: Friday June 14th Edition

Whether on catch and shoot rhythm threes, or using pump fakes and jabs to get her defender off balance to attack and shoot off the dribble in the midrange, she was scoring at ease. Versus Trevezant, she had 30 points on 10 made threes, and vs Beech another 21 points with 7 made threes, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. She was also making teams pay for bad closeouts by attacking the rim with confidence and strength. Butler looked poised and super confident. Nobody questions her ability to knock down shots, and her offensive skill is excellent. Her defensive ability gives her the chance to really be special, and her grit and "want to" are off the charts. Offensively, her game is developing nicely. She could be an "x factor" for what will be a really good White County team. Her ability to rebound and score efficiently in the paint were on full display at BCAT. By my count, she had two double doubles, including a 10 rebound game and a 15 rebound game. She's a '27 that looks to have gotten much better this spring. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
