balled out at the FABC Showcase and her move to Cardinal Mooney will be very impactful. It could be one of the biggest transfers of the season. Some might say “Lakeland-Impactful.” Cardinal Mooney was already a favorite to make it to Lakeland with their roster. Now they might be a favorite to win it all. Martin’s ability to shoot, score, handle the ball, and help run the offense are huge additions. Martin and her new teammates played very well together at the FABC. It was a preview for of what it will look like this upcoming high school season.

has moved from Buchholz to Gainesville High School to team up with Jaeden Terry and a host of talented young guards. Cardwell was cooking at the FABC and getting to the rim was her main “entree”. Cardwell brings her skillset and an her near 18 points per game production to GHS and this transfer will definitely impact the District and could impact Regional play as well. Look out UF and Santa Fe, this could be the best ticket in town this upcoming basketball season.

This roster move has “return to Lakeland” stamped all over it as it is major! This team was one of the most exciting teams to watch at the FABC Showcase and Shaw’s performance was impressive. She scored on the inside, rebounded well, and displayed athleticism and a high basketball IQ.

looked right at home at the FABC Showcase and her athleticism and basketball abilities were “scary impressive”. She was definitely in the discussion of top athlete in the building. She impacted the game on defense, offense, and in transition. Merthie played locked down defense, shot the jumper well, and got to the rim with precision. She was one of the best players in the building and gives Mainland a good chance to make it back to the Lakeland again.

will play her senior season at Ribault and this season could be a memorable one for the Lady Trojans. Brown can shoot the three and is a good playmaker. She has a lot of talented players around her (on the inside and on the perimeter ) and she will likely be running the point and running the show. The Trojans played well at the FABC showcase and they could make a run for Lakeland. They will have to make a stop at Beach Boulevard first, and then have that point guard position clicking on all cylinders. Brown and company will be up for the challenge.

will team up with a talented roster at Bloomingdale, and this is a move that could pay some nice dividends. Salter is fast and quick and is a crafty offensive player and excels in the transition game. She is also a very good on-ball defender. Bloomingdale returns the FABC’s 6A player of the year in
