HS Summer Leagues: Ready to Lead

Ella buried a triple up top and showed poise to dribble out of pressure and set up the half-court offense. She scored off two in the paint and flashed showtime basketball moves with a nifty no-look pass in transition and a behind-the-back dish. She was an unknown prospect who took over a game for Chesaning and made a big splash in the process. Savanna scored many full-court transition buckets off of steals, finished off two with both hands, scored contested layups, and completed with high energy. She has the length and height of a wing/forward but handles the ball like a guard. She knocked down a wing 3, blocked shots on her closeouts, and scored a floater after sweeping by her defender off the dribble. Ella worked for offensive rebounds and finished off two in the paint. She blocked shots and caused steals with her high motor and pressure on defense. Emma pushed the ball in transition and demonstrated excellent footwork to finish full speed off two. She made smart, quick passes to move the defense and converted many layups. Macy scored transition layups with both hands and created steals on defense. Evah is a relentless rebounder on the boards and finished put backs in the paint off two feet. She earned free throws by winning one on one takes to the rim and will be a formidable inside presence as she develops her fundamentals.
