<p>The new rankings for the 2025 class is out and a lot of new players enter the rankings for the first time. In this article we look at some of these new players in the rankings and see what their strengths are. Some have played on the big stage and some have had to wait their turn. <br></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='908911' first='Elise' last='Horne'] makes her way into the rankings. We got a glimpse of Horne in the State Championship where she played well and was instrumental in winning the State Championship. She scored in the paint, she rebounded well and was impactful on the defensive end. Horne is a workhorse and gets the job done at the power forward position. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='900338' first='Bailey' last='Harris'] (COVER) makes a grand entrance into the rankings. She enters on the heels of her performance in the recent April and May evaluation period. Harris opened a lot of eyes with her play, her great length, and her versatility. Harris played multiple positions, including spells at the point guard position. She shoots it well from the mid range area, she shoots it well from behind the three-point line, and she is very good in the transition game. She has a quick first step and long strides, and can get to the rim and score. Harris does a good job of playing in her teams offensive system, and at the same time she demonstrates the ability to make the correct play on the floor. Harris has received several offers after the April and May evaluation periods. With a strong live period, she will have a memorable and exciting July.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='763181' first='Maia' last='Berdebes'] is a talented and aggressive point guard who can score the ball. She can get down hill quickly and get to the rim. She keeps a defense on its heels with her aggressive style of play. Berdebes can shoot the ball from all three levels on the floor. She was a standout last Fall at several showcases, and looking to see more of her this summer.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='905594' first='Audrey' last='Hubbard'] is another new player who has been added to our list. She caught our attention during the May evaluation period. She can shoot the ball very well from the outside, she has a great motor, and she has a great desire to win. Hubbard is also extremely competitive and has a high basketball IQ. She has received several offers and more could be coming with a great July performance.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='860613' first='Abby' last='Baker'] is another player to watch. She played well last year in a limited role at Bishop Kenny. Baker has good size and is very active in the paint. She rebounds well and can score inside . She plays solid defense and is strong with the ball. She enters the 2025 rankings with clear expectations. In the past Baker played her roll, but now she will be called upon to lead and anchor the inside. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='927579' first='Mikerria' last='Bonner'] enters the rankings in an enviable position. She plays with one of the best bigs in the State , [player_tooltip player_id='751628' first='Chamiah' last='Francis'], AKA Chamiah “Franchise.” Bonner is a versatile player who can score on the inside and also shoot the three. She also does a good job of moving the ball and getting the ball inside and setting up teammates to score. Bonner's name will be called upon to shoot the rock all season with her “big” getting double and triple teamed. She showed that she can shoot it at the FABC showcase.</p>
