This weekend was the Legacy Region Finals in Appleton, Wisconsin. Over the past two days, I've had the chance to watch a ton of action on the basketball court from the 12U to the 17U grade levels and I've seen a lot of promise. In this article we highlight five players that did a great job of producing in multiple contests from the past few days.

[player_tooltip player_id='877604' first='Sophia' last='Milosh'] was a force this weekend with her 2029 [program_tooltip program_id='713047' first='Wisconsin' last='Shooters'] team. Milosh is a prospect that has solid size and physical ability, helping her dominate the glass on both sides of the court, no matter who is matching up against her. This weekend, Milosh was a beast on the boards. She ended one contest with 10 Points and 12 Rebounds, while finishing with a near double-double in another game with having a game high 16 Rebounds. You can't fake production once you take the floor and Milosh produces. She is someone that ALWAYS seems to be in the right place at the right time under the hoop and she does a great job of out-playing most others by the basket because of it.

[player_tooltip player_id='844276' first='Kylie' last='Heller'] may be a Small Forward because of her size but this weekend, she was doing her best impression of a Shooting Guard. I'm not sure if this was just a, "this weekend", type situation but Heller was on fire from three, hitting big shot after big shot to help her team. On Saturday, Heller hit a buzzer beater three pointer to tie and push her team to OT to help them try and pull out a W. Following this game, Heller then hit another three pointer with about 20 seconds left in a tie game, to put her team up 3, eventually helping them win the game in the end. I had the chance to watch every grade level at this event and Heller may of been the most clutch out of everyone I saw. Each game she showed up for the entire contest and in the end, she came up big for her team in every way imaginable.

[player_tooltip player_id='887079' first='Naomi' last='Kallon'] was someone that stood out to myself and everyone else watching in her Saturday evening contest. Kallon has a great feel for the game. She seems to move effortlessly with the ball and she is always someone that can make something out of nothing. In all of her contests, she demonstrated that she was coordinated with the ball in her hands, she can produce while playing off of the ball as well, and she can get after it when she is motivated to do so. Kallon and Her Forward Thinking Basketball program left it all on the floor this weekend and that was refreshing to see moving into the month of June.

[player_tooltip player_id='751285' first='Taressa' last='Hennes'] is the #3 rated prospect in Wisconsin for the 2027 Class and I understand why after this weekend. Hennes has great size at 6'0 but she also moves like a guard at times. So much so that her team will even run sets for her to attack off the dribble from the perimeter, usually getting a bucket to go once she gets downhill in the half court. Not to mention, she also has the ability to step up on the block and dominate with her length at any given moment. On the defensive side of the ball, she is someone that her opponents need to worry about once they beat their matchup off the dribble because Hennes can get a lot of blocks in a short amount of time with her mixture of size, athletic ability, and discipline. This 2027 [program_tooltip program_id='713368' first='Wisconsin' last='Playground Elite'] club had a great weekend as a team playing up an age level. If most of their prospects stick with it, they will have a bright future on the hardwood, especially Hennes.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this but I think that [player_tooltip player_id='874372' first='Nyajuacni' last='Riak'] maybe the most promising prospect that I have seen on the road this Spring AAU season at any age level. Riak is the type to have the chance to be a top player in the country if she sticks with it and stays motivated. She stands at 6'2, she is skilled more than most I've seen in ALL aspects of the game, and she has solid situational knowledge of the game. This weekend Riak had her arsenal on full display. She was winning the jump ball each game, hitting jumpers from the volleyball line behind the perimeter on multiple occasions, and she was putting on a show near the rim on both ends of the floor. Riak understands her size and her length to a T, helping her beat basically any matchup with her step through ability or her ability to just simply shoot over a smaller defender. Another thing to mention is that at half-time of one of her games, she dunked the ball CLEANLY, off of two feet with no running start. She then attempted this during the second half of her game in a half court set and the ball barley rimmed out. This doesn't mean everything but an 8th grade girl doing this is beyond impressive in my opinion and when you pair her skill along with it, you start to realize how good she could really be at the end of the day.
