A lot of players went about their business and "balled out" at the FABC Showcase. These players are some of the best players in the State in their respective classes. A lot of the State's 5 star recruits garnered a lot of the attention at the event, but there were some sleepers on the courts that played equally well. In this article we look at some of the quality prospects who played well at the FABC Showcase

[player_tooltip player_id='429793' first='Olivia' last='Olson'] (COVER) played well all weekend at the showcase. Olson continues to impress with her competitive nature. She plays hard on both ends of the floor. She can shoot the three as good as anyone, but doesn't just rely on the three. She takes what the defense gives her. She gets downhill to the rim, maneuvers on the court and pulls up in the midrange area. Olson is athletic and has a lot of craftiness to her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='823463' first='Presley' last='Norman'] was on fire the night I saw her. The young baller enters her 10th grade year and her 3rd varsity season. Norman looked like a three year veteran as she was composed and was shooting the daylights out of the ball. During the beginning of one game, Norman had connected on three three pointers in the first. few minutes of the game. Norman also impressed with her ability to set up teammates for some quality looks. She keeps the defense honest and when she draws the double team, Norman makes them pay.

[player_tooltip player_id='514577' first='Makiyah' last='McHenry'] was really a nice player to watch at the showcase. The Junior guard was shifty and explosive off the dribble, dynamic in the transition game, and can was an effective three point shooter. On defense, she was all over the ball making it difficult for the opposing point guards to get by her. McHenry also played very good defense, keeping opposing guards in front of her.

[player_tooltip player_id='514608' first='Evelyn' last='Freeman'] played well at the showcase. The speedy guard was as fast as ever and just made plays all over the court. Her exceptional speed up and down the court was amazing and combined with alot of basketball skill, Freeman was a beast on the floor. Freeman plays both ends of the floor and gets her buckets at the rim, and then she gets her steals that lead to more buckets. Freeman is one of the best two way players in the 2026 class. Coaches always talk about point guards who must play defense. Look no further as Freeman is one of the best out there. Her on-ball defense is very good , her help side defense is good, and her defense in the passing lanes is special due to her speed and lateral movement.

[player_tooltip player_id='346822' first='Lamiyah' last='Hogans'] played well at the FABC showcase and that came on the heels of a few more offers. She did a good job of handling the ball, shooting the long ball, and getting to the rim off of the bounce. Hogans also gave great effort on defense. The now senior baller can guard three positions on the floor with her spped and size. Hogans was picking up point guards and guarding them 94 feet. She applied relentless pressure on the ball. She was definitely a sleeper at the Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='400803' first='Trinidy' last='Harris'] ran the point well with her other two guards. The reccent crowned Class 1A player of the year showed the full package: quickness, shiftiness, basketball IQ, the ability to get down hill and the ability to shoot and score the ball. Harris's defense is top notch and she moves laterally, backward and frontward in an effortless manor.

[player_tooltip player_id='514520' first='Anni' last='Ament'] played well and really looked comfortable shooting three-ball. Ament was very clutch with her shooting, including a go ahead three pointer with less than 10 seconds to play. Ament handled the ball well, passed it well, and rebounded the ball very well from her wing and guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='811411' first='Ronneisha' last='Thomas'] is a young player to keep an eye on. She can flat out ball and she is looking better and better every time out. Thomas is a beast on the defensive end and can affect the game with her pressure alone. She was a major contributor last season all the way to the State Championship game. Her speed and athleticism are elite.

[player_tooltip player_id='926715' first='Areille' last='Marc'] came to play and she held her own against some of the top guards in the State. Marc can handle the ball, she can get to the rim, and she can shoot the ball. Marc's also left an impression with her competitiveness. Marc defended well and was an in your face defender all weekend long.

[player_tooltip player_id='515087' first='Kellisia' last='Grant'] was another impressive guard who colleges better not sleep on. Grant impressed with her ability to attack the rim going left or right. Grant also shot the ball well. She also embraced playing some of the top talent in the State and more than held her own.

[player_tooltip player_id='214182' first='Chardae' last='Rumph'] was the truth at the FABC showcase and showed she is one of the best guards in the 2025 class. Rumph can flat out shoot the "rock" and if anyone shoots with the green light, it's Rumph. She shot it well in the offensive sets and often pulled up for the three in transition. Rumph was also a team player and played in the flow of the offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='248699' first='Brianna' last='Behn'] played her game at the FABC showcase and garnered some attention from college coaches. Coaches love the way the point guard controls the action and distributes the ball to her scorers. Behn also demonstrated that she can get to the basket and score on drives and open jumpers as well. On defense the savvy and high IQ guard competes. Behn is one of the top point guards in her class and was ever effective at the showcase.
