Notes from BCAT Games: Saturday June 15th Edition

Her rate of improvement this spring/summer has been phenomenal. She led Heritage in scoring both games Thursday, and was super efficient from three. She was also really decisive on when to attack the rim, and when to shoot. When she was attacking the rim, she was playing with power and poise and finished really efficiently at the rim. She's really beginning to diversify her game, and has stepped it up defensively. I'm not sure there is a more confident player in the state right now. She made everything simply look easy scoring at all three levels, but never having to force the issue to do it. And she defends her tail off. If you have BallerTV, go back and watch this game. She's was shooting the 3 with confidence. She was hitting middys with a quick trigger off the dribble. She was playing smother defense. And I loved the court vision she's beginning to show off. In Thursday's action I watched her have two dominant outings: Game 1-18 points, and Game 2- 21 points. She's a bigger guard that can attack the rim, distribute, takes pride in her defense, and impacts winning on the boards. Her Thursday games where: Game 1- 5 points/5 rebounds, Game 2- 6 points/4 rebounds</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='795480' first='Love' last='Howard'] would start for 95% of the teams in the state. She happens to play at Bradley Central however....where things are much different than basically anywhere else. She's proven this spring, and proven this summer, that she's an efficient scorer will a big time skill set. Really nice bounce to her game, and can take you off the bounce.
