The Class of 2026 in Indiana has put together quite the résumé this Spring, collectively picking up a great deal of interest and offers from a variety of universities. For anyone who pays attention, it has been a strong class for some time, but now it has a chance to rival the 2016 class that included Jackie Young, Tyasha Harris, Lindsey Corsaro, and other talented ladies. 2026 is not only a talented class, but it is also a very deep class. Below is a “FAST FIVE” look at some quick notes on the combo guard group in 2026, followed by the positional rankings for the ladies located in our new Top-75 overall for 2026.
– Borden could be a top team in Class 1A this coming season, as they certainly have some talented 2026s throughout their roster. One who stands out is
Riley Rarick

. At her height, she has very nice ball skill, vision, and the ability to distribute the basketball. She can score it a little from all three levels, plus she utilizes her length very well defensively. As she continues gaining strength, I think it will help solidify her production game to game.
– This Spring, Pike welcomed the transfer of

from Ben Davis. She has nice ball skill, very good vision, and she is a versatile scorer. Pike has a strong 2027 class of guards, and Alonna should be able to take pressure off of them and help them get better looks from outside. Additionally, her size and athleticism when on the ball will be key against the full-court pressure defenses they might see in Central Indiana.
– Silver Creek’s

is one of the better shooters in the class, and she showed that a couple of weeks ago at both “Scholastic Live Period” events in Central Indiana. When she’s able to find space and get rhythm, it’s going in. She has a long, wiry frame, she’s a quick athlete, and she can play effectively on or off the ball.
– Brynn Owens Brynn Owens 5'7" | CG Austin | 2026 State IN has been a critical scorer for Austin the past couple of seasons, but this Spring it has been good to see her act as more of a primary ball-handler at times and manage an offense. She is surrounded in her grassroots setting by a number of talented individuals, so finding them on time/on target has been key.
– Louisville Mercy transfer

made an instant impact for Jeffersonville this past Winter, and I was finally able to catch up with her this Spring on the grassroots circuit. She has a strong, athletic frame, she’s a nice athlete in most directions, and she’s an aggressive attacker/scorer. She could have a big Junior year.
