Seeing these prospects throughout travel ball and the high school Live period, some of the players have really stood out and provided a wow factor in the process. In this article, we look at some of the players who really performed well on the big stage and basic phrases just can't adequately describe their play. They are some of the top players in the categories listed below.

Amazing

[player_tooltip player_id='346835' first='Jaida' last='Civil'] falls in this category and her offer to South Carolina just confirms it. Civil has the “it factor” and has the intangibles that you just can teach. Her layups look like a dunk in progress. Her ability to get down hill is an amazing thing to see. She has speed, quickness, and athleticism all wrapped in one and on top of that she is one of the fiercest competitors (superlative) in the State and her competitive nature and desire to win was evident all summer long. Civil can do it all and everything she does just looks a little different than everyone else.

Dominant

[player_tooltip player_id='751628' first='Chamiah' last='Francis'] falls under this superlative and dominant might be putting it lightly. Francis was dominant from the onset of the travel season and that was even more evident during the FABC showcase. Francis scored in the paint, blocked and changed shots, and was just overwhelming with her physicality.

Stockriser

[player_tooltip player_id='514519' first='Carleyssia' last='Wallace'] takes the cake in this category. Wallace moved from the shadows of anonymity to one of the biggest names on the recruiting trail. Her size, versatile game, work ethic, were all on display and coaches fell in love with her this season. Wallace shot the three well, rebounded well, and attacked the rim. Her all around game was impressive from the beginning of the AAU season. I watched her win a three point shootout at at a preseason showcase and it was on from that point on. Her stock went through the roof and it's not over yet and offers are steady coming in for the talented Forward.

Confident

[player_tooltip player_id='409186' first='Holland' last='Harris'] plays with a great deal of confidence in her self and in her game. She once told me that “balling out” is what she does. She was dominant in the one tournament I saw her play in. Her ability to score in the paint and her three point shooting were on point and she was just destroying opponents during the second week of the evaluation period. She rebounds well, can drive it, and can score the ball. Basketball is what she does and I can say with similar confidence that she definitely does it well.

Smooth

[player_tooltip player_id='248693' first='Riley' last='Stoker'] is one smooth player and she spread that ball over the court like “butter.” Stoker was really versatile and excelled in an offense that complimented her ability to shoot from the three point ball and score it in the midrange area. She also did well on the boards. Stoker doesn't play with a lot of “rah rah” but gets the job done with a quiet confidence about her.

Deadly

[player_tooltip player_id='861097' first='Serenity' last='Hardy'] is one of the deadliest shooters out there. Hardy can flat out score the ball. I first saw her in Lakeland in the State Semifinals, and she put on a show for the ages. Her ability to not only shoot the three, but to shoot it best in the crucial moments of the game. Hardy has good size and can play through physical play as well. She connected on several rare four point plays in the State playoffs. Hardy provided an encore at the FABC showcase and put on a performance at center court that was amazing.

Consistent

[player_tooltip player_id='346820' first='Abby' last='Knauff'] came on the scene balling, and was a candidate for player of the year in her Freshman season. Knauff has been one of the top scorers every season and her ability to catch and shoot has been consistent from her 9th grade season until her now pending senior season. She rebounds well, can get to the rim, and just balls out, especially from behind the three point line.

Versatile

[player_tooltip player_id='243896' first='Jade' last='Jones'] was one of the most versatile players I saw this year. She can score in multiple ways - from scoring in the paint to running and converting on the breaks. Defense is where “Miss Jones, Miss Jones, Miss Jones” does her damage. She can defend bigs in the paint and guards on the perimeter and does it at a high level.

Mature Young Star - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='214184' first='Jalynn' last='Belton'] had a summer for the ages and checked every box like a seasoned veteran. The shooting from all three levels, the energy on the floor, and the versatility just all standout. Belton flourished this season and continued to remain grounded despite all of the accolades and college offers. Her performance on the floor and off the floor have been impressive.

Mature Young Star - Forward

[player_tooltip player_id='811751' first='Madi' last='Mignery'] has been all of that and a bag of chips and is just going to 10th grade next year. Her game is light years ahead of her age. Mignery can dominate in the paint and that facet of her game got better as the season progressed. Mignery has the inside moves and she can also shoot the rock from the free-throw line and in. She is relentless on the offensive attack and plays well beyond her age.

There are numerous players who we will recognize for their play over the summer. This is only the beginning.
