In the Run 4 the Roses 17U title game that aired live on ESPNU, Mathurin continued to prove her bonafides as one of the best scorers in the nation. The skilled guard seemed to make all the offensive plays late to close out the win. She carved up the defense in just about every way possible. There was of course big three pointers, athletic drives to the rim and the type of skill moves that can only be perfected by hours in the gym. The amount that defenders bite on her pump fakes speaks not only to her scoring ability, but that extra attention to detail by Mathurin to create those big buckets.

The Class of 2025 in Oklahoma is a remarkable group. The performances by the Broken Arrow Tiger this summer have only added to the growing prestige of Oklahoma's exceptional prospects.

There's time when watching Plunkett, that she makes a case for being a top 5 caliber prospect in Oklahoma's 2026 class. She's tall, has a plus wingspan and is athletic. And in the all Oklahoma game watched from Run 4 the Roses, she backed up those high upside traits with a huge all around game. She got position deep and scored with ease. Created for teammates. Was strong with the ball on drives with methodical takes in the halfcourt. And good coast to coast takes off rebounds. Plus she drew fouls, allowing her to earn easy points at the line.

As good as her offense was, her defense might've been even better. Especially with the footwork, understanding of angles and leveraging her huge wingspan to be very comfortable covering guards. It truly looks like she has the potential to cover 1-5 at the next level.

Plunkett seems to be one of the more undervalued recruits and looks set for a huge year at Carl Albert.

The other star of [program_tooltip program_id='712993' first='Team' last='Trae Young']'s title game, Stewart was her usual rough and tumble self throughout the contest. She treats rebounds like the ball is oxygen, while also being a dynamic and tough driver on offense. There was one "And 1" drive where she seemed to carry a defender on her hip like it was nothing for a good 8-10 feet before scoring. Her combination of strength and tenacity is rare, and it's impressive to see it be effective at the highest national levels of AAU basketball. Good luck to the girls in Oklahoma trying to keep Stewart off the glass and out of the paint this winter.

Do it all scoring guard, who can live in the mid-range or pressure the rim with a smooth scoring style. Great fundamentals on rip throughs and other drives. She often attacks with the purpose to score but plays with her head up. And she makes the right reads, that benefit her teammates. Add in some competitive rebounding moments and flashes on defense, and it's hard to poke a hole in this talented junior's game.

Howell had her opponents in the spin cycle all game long, as her timing and moments on ball screens was seemingly unstoppable. She'd either slip the screen or set a tough one and then navigate to the open pockets where she was efficient around the rim. Along with the advanced degree in setting screens, the Ripley forward treated every rebound like it was hers. This rebounding tenacity was apparent on both ends of the court. She even blocked a few shots and showed promise in the 15-18 range as a shooter as well.

Howell has impressed in multiple viewings this spring and summer, and with her combo skill, size and toughness is currently a diamond in the rough.
