Heading into her senior season, Russell was a key member of a Philomath squad that won their conference and finished fifth in state a season ago. The shooting guard earned second team all-Oregon West Conference for her high-energy play that often racks up 4+ steals per game. Even at 5'5, she led all players in offensive rebounds at the state tournament with an average of 4.0 per game. The Warriors only graduated one senior and are bringing back other stud returners including first team all-leaguers [player_tooltip player_id='839070' first='Reagan' last='Heiken'] (2027) and [player_tooltip player_id='847913' first='Anneka' last='Steen'] (2025), and second team all-leaguers [player_tooltip player_id='832588' first='Emily' last='Taunisila'] (2026) and [player_tooltip player_id='906579' first='Zoee' last='Howard'] (2025).

Another name to know from a team to watch out for, Baker's [player_tooltip player_id='985155' first='Ashlyn' last='Dalton'] is set to have an excellent senior season. In addition to being one of Baker's leading scorers, Dalton also is an excellent rebounder from the guard spot and a menace on the defensive end, resulting in games like her 21 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals against Ontario. She was named first team all-Greater Oregon League last season, and will be joined this year by all but one of her teammates from last season, including second team all-leaguers Kathryn Gentry (2025) and Jayden Whitford (2025), and young talents [player_tooltip player_id='888115' first='Gwen' last='Rasmussen'] (2026) and [player_tooltip player_id='832078' first='Kyndal' last='Chandler'] (2027).

Coming up just short of a state title last season, [player_tooltip player_id='985157' first='Malory' last='Dundas'] and the Fishermen are likely to be back with her, [player_tooltip player_id='833497' first='Shelby' last='Bruney'] (2025) -- the reigning Cowapa league player of the year and defensive player of the year -- and honorable mention all-leaguers [player_tooltip player_id='833499' first='Tayla' last='Huber'] (2025) and [player_tooltip player_id='991266' first='Emery' last='Young'] (2026). Dundas was one of the premier power forwards in 4A last season, earning first team all-league, as she regularly put up double-doubles and games like her 23 points, 6 boards, 4 steals, 3 assists, and 2 blocks against St. Helens. Her combination of strength, speed, and finesse make her a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the floor, and a difficult matchup for most opponents.

Little sister to the reigning 4A state player of the year, it is no surprise that [player_tooltip player_id='991221' first='Senia' last='Campos'] is a hooper in her own right. Coming off a sophomore season in which she averaged 7.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, earned first team all-conference and honorable mention all-state, and helped lead the Hornets to a state championship, Campos is set to impress in her next two years of high school. Henley is losing a big piece in Annie Campos, but along with Senia, they are returning a solid young core that includes star [player_tooltip player_id='833498' first='Anna' last='Harper'] (2025) -- who was out for much of league play but was first team all-state tournament -- 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='991287' first='Lily' last='Fussell'] (second team all-conference), 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='991289' first='Kennedi' last='Modin'] (HM all-conference), and 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='926280' first='Prestyn' last='Schade'] (HM all-conference).

And taking a look out east, [player_tooltip player_id='991223' first='Harper' last='Smith'] and Crook County are looking quite dangerous for the 2024-25 season. Smith was honorable mention all-conference and will be joined by one of the best 2027s in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='832542' first='Anna' last='Bales'] (first team all-conference), 2026 Kacey Wiederholt (HM all-conference), and most of their roster from last season. Smith is a scrappy, versatile guard who brings the energy on the defensive end and combines that with a beautiful shot and great court vision on the other end. She and the Cowgirls will be ones to watch if they can have a breakout season.
