In this article we highlight five uncommitted prospects out of the 2025 and 2026 Classes from Iowa and Nebraska. Each player listed is someone that stands over 6'0 in height and they still have yet to make their college decision, no matter what level they are looking to compete at when that time comes.

[player_tooltip player_id='757592' first='Sanai' last='Foster'] of Omaha Westside High School was overshadowed this past AAU season competing with her 17U [program_tooltip program_id='779942' first='ETG' last='Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB'] program but that doesn't change the fact that Foster has fantastic size, better than average skill, a silky smooth shot form, and a difference making ability on the defensive side of the ball with her mixture of length and knowledge of when to go for a block/steal, compared to sitting back and letting the ball come to her. Out of the 2026 Class in Nebraska, Foster is a Top 10 prospect because of all the intangibles I mentioned above. I'm sure she is going to step up this Winter, competing at a high rate and I'm sure that will translate to her last AAU season during the 2025 calendar year as well.

This is a classic situation of someone that competes for a small town school so she doesn't get as much attention as she should and that individual is Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='595151' first='Rowan' last='Jacobi'] of Springville High School. Jacobi as of last week, received her first D1 offer to compete with South Dakota following her Senior season at Springville. This might be the first big offer for Jacobi but it's surely not going to be the last. When I had a chance to see her compete the last week of AAU season in Chicago, her [program_tooltip program_id='715891' first='Iowa' last='Ball Stars'] team had a few D1 recruiters on the sidelines paying attention and that is going to lead to some more offers for Jacobi and company at the end of the day. Specifically where to? I'm not sure but I wouldn't be shocked if some Top ranking Universities out of Iowa were to step up and give her a chance before everything is said and done.

[player_tooltip player_id='867471' first='Ashleigh' last='Amble'] is going to be a big question mark to start off her Junior year at Clear Lake High School but if she shows some certain intangibles and abilities right away, she could be considered a D1 prospect within one of the first few weeks of the 2024-2024 high school season. Amble has natural size at 6'3-6'4, she has soft touch near the rim on either side of the basket and with either hand, she runs hard from rim-to-rim down the court, and she is a game changer with her size and discipline from a defensive standpoint. I need to see her compete live a few more times before I will go ahead and really push Amble to college coaches but she definitely is going to have the chance to be a Top Prospect out of the 2026 Class before you know it.

This is going to be one of the last times that I mentioned Forward, Rylee McLucas. McLucas is someone that has recently switched High School's, moving from Nebraska to Missouri to compete with the Nationally ranked Link Academy. McLucas is 6'0, she has a three level offensive scoring ability, she has a smart head on her shoulders, she is decently athletic, and she can be moved around the high school floor in a number of ways, always yielding results in the end in some form/facet. At Link she is going to have to show that she can compete at a college level if she wants to see the floor right away. If she comes in and plays to her strengths, I'm sure she will be just fine and in the end, end up in a place that fits her play-style at the next level. She works hard and that's usually how things tend to work in the end for those individuals.

The highest ranking uncommitted prospect out of the 2025 Class in Iowa comes to us in the form of Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='311356' first='Rebecca' last='Aagard'] of North Polk High School. The past three seasons, Aagard has received interest from every collegiate level so it's still a mystery as to where she might end up but whoever gets her in the end is getting someone that could build on her play-style at the next level with her height at 6'2. Over the years, she has proven that she is a lefty, that is dominant on that side of the bucket offensively. As long as she can work on expanding her game to both sides of the basket and she is put in favorable spots, she should see some success. No matter what level she may end up coming at, at the end of the day.
