I've talked to coaches from around the Southeast regarding some of the biggest movers on the recruiting scene, and here are a few of the rumblings I've heard:

Alber's name is really picking up steam in recruiting circles. She has all the tools to be a D1 big: great size, length, athleticism, and motor. On the defensive end, she's already a game changer. She contest everything, and has great pursuit of the basketball as a high level rebounder. On the offensive end, she showing tons of development--her motor makes her really tough both running the floor in transition and as an offensive rebound threat. She's begun to develop skill with her back to the basket (she's drop-stepping in either direction now), and as a threat in the pick and roll game. Recently picked up her first of many D1 offers.

Carroll had a tremendous summer for Trotters '26 (Williams), and has added a skill level that now matches her high-end athleticism. In her final two championship games of the summer, on the biggest of stages, she had a 22 point 12 rebound game, and a 23 point outing. You can tell a lot about a kid by who offers them, and when D2 powerhouse Lee University game her an offer, it was evident that her skill level has become truly high level. LeeU plays a modern "Princeton system" of position-less basketball players--they don't recruit positions but instead basketball players. Carroll has become a legitimate shooting threat, and is a great compliment to her ability to attack the rim. She's really developed as a ball handler and playmaker as well. Her strength and athleticism are great assets, and she certainly takes advantage of them. But, it's her skill level that's beginning to turn heads.

Burns is an extremely skilled PG that has played wonderful basketball for Kentucky Premier this summer. She's turned herself into an elite three level scorer, possesses high level vision, can really defend, plays with confidence and swagger, high IQ, and uber-competitive. Now playing a starring role for Grace Christian in Knoxville, basketball fans from around the state remember her as a starting guard for the Gatlinburg-Pittman state tournament teams from the beginning of her high school career. Fast forward to today, and she's a D1 prospect. She's recently picked up offers from Youngstown St, Evansville, North Alabama, and Southern Miss to name a few. Stock is still rising for this '26.

McNealy has been on an upward trajectory since last season at Farragut after putting together a tremendous sophomore campaign. Her intangibles are off the chart as a wing with great size, athleticism, and big-time effort. She's an elite rebounder for her position (her 18 rebound game from last season will likely always be one of the greatest high school level rebounding performances I've ever watched), but it's her offensive development that has really begun to turn heads. She's developed into a consistent shooter, and looked ultra-confident this summer as a playmaker off the bounce. She's looked really good as the ball-handler in the pick and roll game, and anytime you have a 6'0 playmaking wing that is also a high-level defender and rebounder--you have something special. Underrated court vision too! She picked up big time D1 offer from South Florida recently (plus Tennessee Tech and Radford).

The highly touted '28 began making a real name for herself this summer for Team B-Wright. I always enjoy watching kids like Zenner--players that don't necessarily jumped out at you physically, but once the ball is tipped, their skill level pops. Zenner is a lights out shooter, possesses a quick release, and has begun scoring it at all three levels. High level ball handler that plays with great change of pace. She's just getting starting, and her best basketball is yet to come. Picked up big time offers this summer from D1 UT-Martin, and South Alabama.

Holman had a tremendous summer for TopGun, and the has had some really nice offers as of late. She tremendous when attacking the rim, and possesses a high level change of pace, speeds, directions and levels. Super shifty, and really tough to stay in front of. Has a really tough floater that she's able to get to incredibly quick, and at tough angles. Nice touch around the rim. Shooting has taken great strides.
