[player_tooltip player_id='990223' first='Ashlynn' last='Forde'] |5'11 G| Park Christian

WHY?

This young and talented Falcon is a smooth shooter who can play multiple positions. Forde is a first class three-point shooter with exceptional range. Ashlynn played point guard this summer in club ball, she already has great handles, but her court vision and end-of-game situational awareness improved greatly while running the show for [program_tooltip program_id='931470' first='ND' last='Pro'] 2027. On Defense, her length causes trouble for opposing players/teams. She made herself known as a 3-point shooter in her 9th-grade season. Ashlynn's all-around game took a big leap forward this past year. Expect her to have a scintillating sophomore campaign at Park Christian.

[player_tooltip player_id='555487' first='Jordan' last='Christofferson'] |6'0 F| Horace

WHY?

Jordan currently holds offers from UND and NDSU. She had a stellar club season with [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] this spring/summer. Christofferson can flat-out play ball, she has great physical ability, and continues to get taller/stronger. Jordan came into her own while playing for [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'], she performed at a high level, and knocked down a few clutch end-of-game-shots. Jordan plays on a very talented Horace team, she perhaps passed on some scoring opportunities last year. However, this year we expect monster games and for her to produce big numbers. Jordan will be filling up the stat sheet for the Hawks. The interest level from college coaches will only increase for Christofferson once the high school season tips off.

[player_tooltip player_id='933463' first='Katie' last='Burchill'] |5'11 PF| Valley City

WHY?

After a great State Tournament for the Hi-Liners, Burchill followed that up with a fantastic summer in the post for [program_tooltip program_id='931470' first='ND' last='Pro']. Katie showed a unique ability to go right or left and finish with either hand. Burchill is a good free-throw shooter and high-yielding rebounder. She is tough to move off the block, and started to demand the basketball more this summer. This will all lead to Burchill putting up some gaudy numbers this winter for VC.

[player_tooltip player_id='760534' first='Kinley' last='Bartsch'] |5'8 G| Minot

WHY?

She played for SSA Black and continued to improve her game this off-season. Bartsch is uber-talented and sharply skilled. Kinley has a good feel for the game, is crafty, and is an intelligent decision-maker. She keeps the defense honest with a fluid and consistent shot from 3-point land. Her mid-range jumper is impressive and she makes a boatload of quality plays in transition. Kinley values the basketball and she gets the ball where it needs to be. We are expecting a breakout season for Kinley. She got game.

[player_tooltip player_id='918612' first='Lexi' last='Lawrence'] |6'0 F| Sacred Heart

WHY?

This talented player has basketball in her veins! Lawrence had splashy games as a frosh, expect her to be a dominant force as a soph. These days, not many girls truly play the post but Lexi does and she is TOUGH. Lawrence is physically strong, difficult to guard on the block without help, and continues to improve her passing as the double team is coming. Lexi plays with a very talented group of classmates who will all be sophomores, expect a big year for Lawrence and EGF Sacred Heart as they look to get by Fosston and down to the MN State Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='892385' first='Marlee' last='Falcon'] |6'2 G| Bismarck Legacy

WHY?

She currently holds multiple Division 1 offers. Falcon continues to come into her own and she really started to catch some eyes this summer with her potential. Last year in high school hoops, Marlee averaged 5.8 ppg, 5.4 rpg, .7 apg, 41.5 FG%, we expect those numbers to increase in a big way this coming season. Falcon is an elite shooter who will light the nets on fire in the WDA. She is versatile on defense with plenty of potential on that end. The future looks extremely bright for Marlee.

[player_tooltip player_id='593657' first='Rylee' last='Routledge'] |5'8 G| South Prairie

WHY?

Her game continues to improve, Rylee is an all-around player who makes her teammates better. She sees the floor well, scores from all levels, is deadly from three-point, and has great footwork. Routledge played well this summer from SSA Black, finished strong, and showed that she is a smart decision-maker. Rylee has a high IQ, is a cerebral baller, works hard to improve her game, is a leader, and a winner. The Royals will be one of the best in A once again and a huge part of that is because of Routledge.

[player_tooltip player_id='933650' first='Tylie' last='Brodina'] |5'8 G| Devils Lake

WHY?

The Firebirds won the State Championship in Class A last season, they will be tough again this year, Brodina is primed to show out as a superstar. This past year, Tylie was named to the State All-Tournament Team and we are expecting her to be an All-State baller by the end of this season. She knows the game well as basketball is important in the Brodina family. Tylie scores the rock off the dribble/at the rim and smoothly from beyond the arc. Brodina's passing game has improved, her overall game has sharpened, and we expect big things this winter from the Devils Lake product.
