A 2028 prospect with an extremely high ceiling at this point in her career is [player_tooltip player_id='884645' first='Brynna' last='Renard'] of Lincoln Northeast High School and [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] AAU. Renard will step onto the Varsity floor as a Freshman, standing between 6'0-6'1 with a lot of skill to build on. Her natural mixture of height, agile movement, guard-like qualities, and abilities to dominate her matchup make her someone to watch out for. She could put together a special few first months of the season, proving that she is a top prospect out of this Class throughout Nebraska. I'm expecting her to put up some impressive numbers this Winter. Honestly, there is no reason for her not to in my book.

[player_tooltip player_id='910355' first='Payton' last='Palmer'] is going to turn some heads this Winter on the high school floor with her mixture of length, athleticism, and wherewithal of the strategic part of the game. Palmer is coming off of an AAU season to remember with her [program_tooltip program_id='714604' first='Omaha' last='Supreme Basketball'] program, being a standout in basically every contest or every other contest that they competed in throughout their Spring and Summer. Elkhorn North is going to bring back a powerful group with a lot of opportunities available to see some minutes at the Varsity level this next eight months. They had transfers, they had some upperclassmen turnover due to prospects graduate, so it really comes down to the game plan they put in place prior to their first games coming up in November.

One of the only prospects to play up a grade level in her UAA program this past Summer was Combo Guard, [player_tooltip player_id='884656' first='Macie' last='Reiner'] of Bennington High School. Reiner has shown promise with her combination of size at 5'9, her ability to make a play, her discipline on both sides of the ball, and her work ethic. Not to mention, her natural ability with the ball in her hands can be special. Something that I love about Reiner's play-style is that she doesn't have to have the bal in her hands to produce though. She can score off of the ball as she cuts to the hoop, she can screen away, and she communicates really well for someone her age. All in all, Bennington is going to have Reiner doing what she can this Winter at full throttle and that will really tell us how far she could take things when pushed to her limits.

[player_tooltip player_id='882863' first='Payton' last='Dolliver'] will step onto the Varsity floor this Winter with Malcolm High School, in attempts to help out her team at the guard position. Malcolm will return Payton's older sister, Halle, for her Junior season so it'll be interesting to see the connection that these two possess early on in the year. I would assume that Payton will get Varsity minutes with their group losing their starting SG from a year ago due to transfer. This is someone else that will have a chance to be a Top Five player out of this 2028 Class at the end of the day as long as she continues to work and expand her play-style over-time.

I really need to see [player_tooltip player_id='895541' first='Nyla' last='Jones'] compete in a live setting to be able to evaluate her properly but from what I've seen from afar, this is someone that might raise some eyebrows this next eight months. Jones is a 6'0 Center with size and prowess in the paint to hold her ground, while competing hard on both sides of the basketball. This AAU season she competed with the Missouri Phenom hub in Nebraska, putting together a solid season of rebounding, rim protecting, and executing underneath the hoop. Jones is going to attempt to take this momentum and channel it into havin a great Winter. If she can see the floor as a Freshman, she is sure to make her mark but if not, she will continue to work on her game so that when her number is called, she will be ready to kill it accordingly.
