Kyla is coming off about as good a season you could have for a sophomore. She led Roosevelt to it's second consecutive 5A state title and was 5A Player of the year. Hollier holds offers from three in-state division I programs (CSU/UNC/DU) as well as many other mid-major D1 schools. Kyla is a dynamic athlete that competes on both ends of the floor. Defensively she dominates by getting deflections that turn into steals and rebounding all over the yard. Offensively, she can fill it up from the paint as well as connect from the 3 point line. With the loss of some quality seniors she will carry even a bigger load this season, but there is no doubt she is ready and will take this team on another title run.

Reyleigh, a California Baptist WBB commit, has been a game changer since she entered the high school basketball scene. Her sophomore year she led Windsor to the 5A state championship game and last season she willed an extremely young group to the elite 8. Reyleigh is a 3 level scorer, competes on the glass, and doesn't shy away from physicality. Besides all that perhaps her best quality is the high level communication skills and ability to be a leader on her team. There is no doubt with Reyleigh leading the way Windsor is a serious state title contender this season.

After a heart breaking overtime loss in the 5A final 4 to Northfield, [player_tooltip player_id='612843' first='Tatyonna' last='Brown'] turned around and had about as good a summer as you can have. Brown entered the summer with a few mid-major offers but finished with a flurry of high major opportunities flooding her way. Watching her play, it is easy to see why - Not only is she a high level athlete with tremendous upside, she has carved a niche of finishing tough inside. Her 6'2 frame, leaping ability, length, and left handed hook make her a handful on the block. On top of that she has improved her mid-range touch and beyond. Air Academy will surely be right back in the mix for another state title opportunity this season with Tatyonna leading the way.

Ryanne has done nothing but win her entire high school career and this year will be no different. A 3 year varsity starter with 2 state titles, Bahnsen-Price, is already committed to take her talents to sunny San Diego next year. Versatile is the best word that comes to mind when describing Ryanne as a basketball player. She has an uncanny ability to take advantage of whatever defenses throw at her - Slicing by bigger defenders to the rim with a lightning quick first step, posting up smaller guards, or simply knocking down jump shots. The killer combination of [player_tooltip player_id='566365' first='Kyla' last='Hollier'] & Ryanne could lead Roosevelt to hoist that final trophy once again this season.

Izzy might be the best player in 5A you've never heard of, as proven by her commitment this summer to Fort Hays State University. Izzy is a lights out 3 point shooter with perfect form and deep range. She scored at least 20 points 6 times last season, including a 29 point breakout performance against Greeley Central in late January. With Izzy & another fellow starter and big contributor, [player_tooltip player_id='910386' first='Avery' last='White'], returning - Silver Creek will look to make a deeper playoff run this season.

Darby was 5A 2nd team all-state as a junior and is poised to have an even bigger senior season. Anytime a program returns their lead guard good things are in store - Darby is especially impactful due to her heavy workload: Handling, shooting, and passing for Mead HS. Her ability to run this team and control the tempo of any matchup make the Mavericks a legit threat to make another deep playoff run. She currently holds offers from Loras College and Northeastern Junior College, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if she plays her way into a lot more college opportunities this season.
