<p><strong>Crescent HS (Iva)</strong>: The Lady Tigers were (4-12) last year and really struggled in region play at (0-10). </p>

<p><strong>Palmetto HS (Williamston)</strong>: The Lady Mustangs were (4-18) a year ago. Things can only go up with a young roster from last season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='281053' first='Skyler' last='Ellison']</strong> and <strong>Carrigan Holbert</strong> both return to provide senior leadership this season. Ellison averaged 7.6 ppg last season while Holbert chipped in at 6.2 ppg and 9.9 rebounds a game. </p>

<p><strong>Pendleton HS</strong>: The Lady Bulldogs finished (5-21) last season. Who will step up and take charge on this roster this coming season?</p>

<p><strong>Powdersville HS</strong>: The Lady Patriots have <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='271878' first='Caroline' last='Sweet']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='610425' first='Makayla' last='Assemian']</strong> back this season. Sweet a junior is back after averaging 4 ppg while Assemian averaged 8.7 ppg and 6.6 rebounds last season as a freshman. Makayla plays very active on the floor and really likes to handle the rock from the forward position. </p>

<p><strong>T.L. Hanna HS (Anderson)</strong>: The Lady Yellow Jackets have a new head coach in Zip Scott-Martin this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='541372' first='Kamiyah' last='Christian']</strong> made the move over to T.L. Hanna HS from nearby Belton-Honea Path HS. She averaged 15.5 ppg a season ago. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='258133' first='Tamerah' last='Wynn']</strong> a left-handed wing player and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='417824' first='Harmoni' last='Earl'] </strong>will both provide plenty production this season. This trio of girls will look to lead the way. Earl brings a great work ethic to the table every time out. The left-handed Earl likes to use 1-2 dribble pullup-jumpers and has the ability to create her own shot on the floor. Harmoni will get the rock into the paint while playing downhill to the basket. Earl averaged 12.6 ppg and 3.6 rebounds last season for the Lady Yellow Jackets. </p>

<p>Wynn can defend all over the floor inside and out. Tamerah plays active in the passing lanes. She averaged 9.5 ppg and 8.3 rebounds last season. Look for T.L. Hanna HS to turn it around this season after going (10-16) a season ago. </p>

<p><strong>Westside HS (Anderson)</strong>: The Lady Rams (24-4) a season ago have plenty of talent to make a deep run to Florence next March. [player_tooltip player_id='324541' first='<strong>Khalia' last='Hartwell</strong>'] patrols the middle and is the #1 player in the 2027 Palmetto State Class. Khalia challenges and alters shots while rebounding everything in site on both ends of the court. She can step-out from 17-19 feet to knockdown the jumper. Hartwell does a great job of running the floor and filling the lane in transition. She keeps the ball up high after claiming it off the glass.</p>

<p>Khalia averaged 10.5 ppg, 8.8 rebounds and 3.8 blocks last season. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='398712' first='Makyhia' last='Paul']</strong> brings some senior leadership to the table for Head Coach Nicole Hood. Paul makes winning plays with her HUSTLE and effort every time out. Makyhia constantly plays around the ball. She's the glue player to this Lady Rams squad. She plays the game in attack mode at times<strong>.</strong> Makyhia averaged 7.4 ppg and 7.1 rebounds last season. </p>

<p><strong> [player_tooltip player_id='496293' first='Zyniah' last='Barnes']</strong> is another senior guard on this very talented. Barnes plays with in the team concept and understands her role here. She plays the game very coachable and has a team player. Zyniah made the move over to Westside HS from Greenville HS.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='195514' first='Monasia' last='Clinkscales'] </strong>a point guard really uses the ball-screen well to make plays on the court. The pass first point guard sets her teammates up well with her crafty passing and court vision. Monasia is a very capable shooter with the ability to knockdown the open jumper. She averaged 10.4 ppg, 4.3 assists and 3.7 rebounds a season ago. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='921724' first='Tiana' last='Marshall']</strong> is just an 8th grader and member of the 2029 Palmetto State Class. Tiana certainly plays very mature on the floor for her young age. She can knockdown shots from the perimeter when she has her feet set. Tiana takes pride in playing defense and finishing at the bucket through contact. Tiana played in 25 games last season as a 7th grader and averaged 4.3 ppg last year. </p>

<p><strong>Wren HS (Piedmont)</strong>: The Lady Hurricanes have a new Head Coach in Samantha Camp this season. Wren HS finished (28-3) last season and lost in the Class 3A State Championship to Camden HS 44-22. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='755000' first='Scarlett' last='Howell']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='628577' first='Ava' last='O'Shields']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='975639' first='Hailey' last='Burgess']</strong> will be some new names to watch out for this season at Wren HS. This trio of players look to be the future of Lady Hurricanes basketball at Wren HS. </p>
