PGH Expo Oklahoma Get to Know Team 2

Lets take a look at Team 2 from this past weekend in PGH Expo Oklahoma hosted. Team 2 could have possibly been the strongest team in the event. Great guard play at the point. High percentage shooters from the 3. Very versatile forward that could play offense like forward but defense like a power post. A group that clicked together which is very rare in these type of showcases Please get those social accounts strong. Knocking down 4 in a row at one point from beyond the arch. Great handles in the open floor with vision up the court making several great passes to her teammate leading to layup's. A shooter you must locate at all times cause she does a excellent job of relocating without the ball. Shooting mechanics are on point as feet and hands were ready to shoot on the catch.   Listed as a shooter guard for good reasons but I also feel that she can handle the point guard position if needed. Nice dribbling skills and vision also support the move to point as well. Therefore I would list her as a combo guard that can handle the 1-2 position. Good verbal skills with her teammate showing a high basketball IQ.     A lighting quick guard who's stock has risen in just the past few months. A point guard plays with a lot of energy and toughness that can became contagious on her team. Nice range of scoring skill set that allows her to be a point guard that can score within the game. A very nice smooth shot from the outside and also has great footwork to shoot off the dribble. Nice pocket dribble and a burst of speed had her getting to the rim all day. Understood how to use her body to protect the layup from being blocked.   One tough kid that you knock what she is bringing. Got hit in mouth and came out for about 2 minutes and was ready to go back in. Just that type of kid. A transfer to Kiefer this season that I think could have a break out year.     A guard that can do a little of everything on offense. Nice shoot from outside and mid range but her game is attacking the rim down hill. She finds the smallest gap in the defense and attacks it hard getting to the rim. Ball handling is solid and tight when attacking the basket meaning it did not get ripped from her on the drives.   Even though Riley has solid offensive game. Defense is her strongest part of her game I witnessed Saturday. Quick hands and lateral footwork allowed her to provide up thigh pressure defense on the ball making it difficult to get by her. A 2027 guard that will provide the Lady Jackets with some back pressure presence .     A nice combo guard that can play the 1-3 position on the floor. Good outside shooter with a nice mid range game. The combination made her a difficult match up at times for her opponent. Mid range pull up kept the defense up tight on the drives keeping the defense guessing on a pull up or drive to the rim. A great finisher on the drives with either hand. Showed good handles in the open floor against pressure having no issues bringing the ball up against pressure. Nice vision off the dribble reading second level defense making good decisions   A tough on the ball defender that stays low in stance that moved the ball handler side to side at times creating a turnover. Guard that will go get the rebounder as she has great hops and needing no outlet to start the break. A transfer to Hartshorne that I believe will have a great junior season.     First let me start off I like left hand shooters. Nice smooth looking shot from beyond the arch knocking down several. A shooter that has the strength in her shot allowing her to shoot with deep range. Good attack to the rim using a very good step though move to finish at the rim. Physical player that can take contact keeping good body control to finish the shot. Good offensive rebounder that cleaned up several misses with the putback.   Soldi defender that has the size to guard 2-4 positions if needed. A player that can give you a double double as she can score and is a good rebounder. Tristyn is a player that could have that break out senior season with a new coach this year.     A protype small forward type player. Nice mid range jumper but made a living Saturday around the 12 feet area. A player that seemed to always be in the right place at the right time and it was not by luck. This young lady is a hustler and hunts that ball down making plays all day. Very nice shot knocking down the 15 ft shot which stretch the defender out allowing the possible drive. Nice big post up giving a easy target to feed the ball tool Showed a nice over the shoulder move on either shoulder.   On transition offense got out and fill the break lanes scoring several layups. A possible double double player as she is always around the rim cleaning up putbacks. Solid defender that rotated on help providing a defensive wall to shoot over. Transfer to Harrah this season that should fit well into their systerm.     Okay Sarah is a young lady that I have seen for 2 weekends in a row. Every time I see this young lady I continue to nocte all the little things she bring with her game. Her game has not changed since last weekend meaning that she is a constant player. A small forward that can shoot the outside 3 pointer at a high percentage to go along with a good mid range pull up jumper. A player that always made thing happen on both ends of the floor. I really like her creativeness around the rim finding ways to get her shot off.   A 2026 that has great size can score and plays tough smart defense. A junior that could have a great season in one of the state top 6a programs.       A combo forward that can shoot the outside shot on the catch and shoot. Knocked down a very in rhythm three point shot at the top of key off the dribble in transition. Always moving along the baseline looking for the open gaps. At times losing her man for a easy backside score. Nice looking shot with range from about 22ft out.   Solid defender that is always seeing ball and man at times dropping to help on the drives. Great strong rebounder that crashed the board at time to get the rebound. Jadyn had me doing research to find out more about her game. A 2025 that should have a strong senior season for Mingo Valley     A young lady that I would consider the biggest stock riser on the weekend. At 6'0 she moved like a small forward but played with the toughness of a power forward. A very nice mid range shooter that was ready to shoot on the catch. Off the ball she was always moving finding the open gaps in the paint and baseline. Great hands that was able to gather in tough passes again for scoring opportunities.   A player that played in beast mode inside using a strong pound dribble on the block to position herself right under the basket for easy scores. Showed quickness on the breaks getting out in front for easy transition layups. Hard nose player that made a statement when she played. You knew she was going to bring it every possession. A transfer to Enid HS that will greatly help them this season.
