The featured image is of [player_tooltip player_id='751044' first='Brooklyn' last='Roberts'] (2027) of Lawrence North High School (in green; from 2023).

Saturday, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana held its first ever Sophomore ID Camp to help identify and showcase several of the state's top Sophomores. With 84 prospects from the 2027 class in attendance, this provided an opportunity to see them compete head-to-head, as well as together, in a combination of 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games. The event was loaded with talent, making it difficult to limit the strong play to just a handful of players, so I wanted to circle back and discuss everyone from Teams 9 & 10. This concludes our coverage of the Sophomore ID.

.

Team #9:

#72 [player_tooltip player_id='751125' first='Taylor' last='Mack'], 5-10 SF/PF, Eastside H.S. - [see her review here]

#75 [player_tooltip player_id='751067' first='Haven' last='Middleton'], 5-4 PG, Brownsburg H.S. - Haven is a really nice little guard. She plays with quickness, she possesses nice length, and she has a well-balanced skillset. She can handle it, run offense, and find teammates, plus she can knock down an open rhythm jumper. I also liked her awareness defensively.

#76 [player_tooltip player_id='756243' first='Macy' last='Loy'], 5-9 SG/SF, North Central H.S. (Indianapolis) - [see her review here]

#451 [player_tooltip player_id='992547' first='Taylor' last='Davis-Gibson'], 5-6 CG, Leo H.S. - This was my first time ever seeing Taylor. She has broad shoulders, solid strength, and she's a nice North/South athlete. Taylor showed the ability to knock down some outside shots, plus she absorbed contact well when attacking the basket.

#503 [player_tooltip player_id='824300' first='Jocelyn' last='Eskew'], 6-0 PF, Shortridge H.S. - Jocelyn is a very intriguing prospect. She has nice size, broad shoulders, and strength, but she is also skilled. She can handle it, create a little, and she has nice touch in the mid-post. She is a solid all-around athlete, but she's probably most comfortable defending forwards.

#504 [player_tooltip player_id='751061' first='Grace' last='Deaton'], 5-6 PG, Monrovia H.S. - Monrovia has several really nice, young guards, but this was my first time seeing Grace. She is a long, wiry, fluidly athletic prospect, and she does some nice things off the bounce. She can get downhill and attack the basket, plus she can create for herself or others.

#704 [player_tooltip player_id='992522' first='Aaliyah' last='Coney'], 5-7 SG, McCutcheon H.S. - Aaliyah is a long, fluidly athletic wing guard with a little bounce to her. She has a solid shot from the perimeter, and while she isn't a primary ball-handler, I felt like she really saw the game well and made several nice passes to open teammates in positions to score.

.

Team #10:

#58 [player_tooltip player_id='932696' first='Emma' last='Tinder'], 5-10 SF, Zionsville Community H.S. - [see her review here]

#73 [player_tooltip player_id='743355' first='Isabelle' last='Eke'], 6-0 SF, Bishop Dwenger H.S. - [see her review here]

#81 [player_tooltip player_id='751044' first='Brooklyn' last='Roberts'], 5-7 SG, Lawrence North H.S. - Brooklyn is a talented guard who had a nice rookie season for the Wildcats. What I noticed about her Saturday is that she is handling it a lot more, pushing in transition, and trying to create off the dribble. She has typically been more of a shooter/scorer in the past.

#450 [player_tooltip player_id='992532' first='Grace' last='Lee'], 5-9 SF, Shenandoah H.S. - Last Saturday was my first time hearing about and seeing Grace in action. She is long, wiry, and fluidly athletic. She still needs a little time to finish growing and add some strength to her frame, but she does have some bounce to her. She showed some versatility as well.

#462 [player_tooltip player_id='992542' first='Lillian' last='Behrle'], 5-5 SG, Guerin Catholic H.S. - Lillian has nice length, wiry strength, and she is a solid athlete at her size. She plays with a nice motor and competes at both ends of the floor. She can knock down an open rhythm jumper, but it could benefit her to be just a bit more dynamic off the dribble.

#464 [player_tooltip player_id='992539' first='Jimara' last='Combs'], 5-9 SG, Culver Academy - [see her review here]

#479 [player_tooltip player_id='890801' first='Madisyn' last='Douglass'], 5-5 PG, Caston H.S. - Madisyn had a strong Freshman season for a Senior-laden Caston team. Now, she could be their go-to. She is a very good perimeter shooter, she has a solid to strong frame, nice length, and she plays with an outstanding motor. She is a small school star.

#489 [player_tooltip player_id='751063' first='Grace' last='Scharlach'], 5-5 PG, Fremont H.S. - [see her review here]
