The PGH Expo: Team 5 Evaluations

The gym at MSA Fieldhouse in Grand Rapids was filled with prospects, and numerous college coaches from various levels were present for The Expo. Throughout the day, I covered Team 5 extensively and provided detailed coverage for each player below!    Aria showcased her speed throughout the day for Team 5 at The Expo. She is a tenacious defender who consistently creates chaos for her opponents. Her quick release on her outside shot helped her secure an and-1 for a 4-point play.     Gabby put on a ball-handling clinic for Team 5 at The Expo. She had the ball on a string and showed off her range by connecting on a deep 3-pointer off the bounce. She effectively used a floater in the lane against taller players and displayed good hands on defense, coming away with many steals on the day.     Sophia had a great day for Team 5 at The Expo. She fearlessly drove into the lane, absorbing contact. Her keen sense for the ball from her guard position helped her grab offensive rebounds and score put-backs. She hustled hard in transition, and as a result, she was often rewarded with easy baskets.     Reese had a fantastic day for Team 5 at The Expo. She is a tenacious defender with quick hands, frequently forcing tie-ups and disrupting her opponents' flow. On the offensive end, her court vision and communication skills shine, as she consistently makes smart decisions and accurate passes in transition. Unafraid of contact, Reese thrives in physical play, drawing fouls and earning frequent trips to the free-throw line.     MaryGrace had an exceptional day for Team 5 at The Expo. She dominates the paint with her strength and solid footwork, making her a tough matchup for opponents. Defensively, she excels at boxing out and using her body to secure position, consistently limited second-chance opportunities. An aggressive rebounder, MaryGrace fights for every board and controls the glass on both ends of the floor.     Jozelynn had a fantastic day for Team 5 at The Expo and was one of my top choices for Top Performer. She excels in transition, always keeping her head up on the fast break to find open teammates or create her own scoring opportunities. She's a versatile offensive threat, knocking down three-pointers, posting up smaller guards, and crashing the boards for put-backs. Defensively, her scrappy play and long reach lead to steals and timely strips, making her a disruptive force on the perimeter.     Spencer had a great day for Team 5 at The Expo. She used her length to disrupt passing lanes, racking up steals and deflections on defense. After one of her steals, she took it coast-to-coast for a smooth finish at the rim. Offensively, she added to her impact by knocking down 3-pointers from the wing, showcasing her versatility as a tall guard.     Leigha dominated the paint for Team 5 at The Expo. She is a powerhouse in the paint, using her strength to outmuscle opponents and control the interior. She showcased her defensive prowess with a huge perimeter block and multiple rejections in the paint, while constantly diving on the floor for loose balls. Offensively, she demonstrated her agility, ripping through the baseline for a smooth reverse lay-up.
