The PGH Expo: Team 6 Evaluations

She scored a layup off two feet in the paint and maintained good spacing on the offensive end. She caused a foul with her aggressiveness on offense to earn a free throw and knocked it down. She closed out with high hands to force a missed shot on the perimeter and shot out of a cannon to pursue a loose ball going out of bounds. Lakelyn leaped over the boundary and threw the ball off of an observing defender to earn an extra possession for her team. Avery kept the ball high and patiently waited for her teammate to cut, then fired an accurate pass on the money through a tight window for an assist. Avery used a baseline sweep move to dribble by her defender and force a foul. Libby maintained good defensive positioning between her girl and the basket, walling up with both hands to force a travel. She sealed her defender for an entry pass and used a drop step to force a foul call, then hit her free throw. She dove on the floor to wrestle for a 50/50 ball and pushed the ball with pace in transition. Taylor combined her pushout dribbles, crossovers, and behind the back snaps to create separation from defenders. She battled for an offensive rebound put back off two feet, back-cut to score a reverse layup high off the glass, and buried a smooth crossover step-back triple from the wing. She demonstrated confidence while bringing the ball up facing full-court pressure and created space with pushout dribbles/crossovers. Maya accelerated to drive through defenders and force a foul, shooting with good balance from beyond the arc. Ramira had good vision from the perimeter and made an accurate bounce pass assist to her teammate in the short corner.
