The area fall leagues are off and running and teams are starting to round into shape. I've been to multiple leagues to check out some action and here is a look at some of the wing players that are trending upward.

Heidi has transferred to St. Frances to finish out her high school career. So far, she has fit in seamlessly. At 5'11" she brings length and versatility. She has impressed with her work in the paint, using good footwork and a nice touch to score inside. She's agile enough to guard on the perimeter and strong enough to bang inside. She's competitive and brings leadership to the team. She's a great addition.

[player_tooltip player_id='925740' first='Vanesa' last='Flood'], Archbishop Spalding, 2028, Wing

I'm very impressed with the overall game of Ms. Flood. She has a good feel for the game and uses her length and athleticism to impact the game on both ends. She's very skilled and at 6'0' can handle the ball and deliver accurate passes from all over the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='691980' first='Madison' last='Byrd'], Western, 2026, Wing

Madison has put together some strong performances in the 695Hoops league. She's playing with a lot of confidence and has improved her handle over the summer. She's quick with an excellent first step and is a good finisher at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='801797' first='Jaden' last='Hunt'], Western, 2025, Wing

Jaden has been getting buckets this fall. Her speed and explosiveness has stood out and she's been a match up problem for most defenders. She will be in the mix for Baltimore City player of the year if she continues at this pace.

[player_tooltip player_id='940360' first='Ayana' last='Tabb'], Rosedale Christian Academy, 2026, Wing

It's good to see Ayana healthy and back playing at a high level. She is physically strong and a handful in the paint where she likes to engage on the boards and do the dirty work. She's a good on-ball defender and has good shot blocking instincts. Power forward may ultimately end up being her best position, but she's versatile enough to stand out on the perimeter as well. She's a great addition to the Panthers.
