Putting Holmes on a list like this is a bit of a shortcut, as she's already expected to be one of Oklahoma's best overall players. But a knee injury cut short her sophomore season, making her one of the most anticipated players to watch this season (maybe starting this weekend at the Broken Arrow Super Scrimmage?)

Class 4A continues to be Oklahoma's arguably deepest class. For Madill to punch a ticket to the last year of the Big House, then climb that mountain in March, it will take Holmes to up her game to even another level. She'll have some talented teammates (including her younger sister, a freshman phenom) to lean on as she ramps up her level as she rehabs early in the season.

Look at her inclusion on this list as a reminder that Holmes should be returning to the court soon, and the excitement her return will bring to Oklahoma's deep talent pool.

A strong performance in the Class 5A quarterfinals put Plunkett on notice as an undervalued prospect. The way then sophomore tried to will her team to an upset victory over the defending champs was admirable. The fight was impressive and of course there's big time physical traits that will check a lot of boxes for college coaches. Tall enough to play inside at 6 foot and long armed. But also a smooth and big time athlete who moves like a guard. Seems like a no brainer type prospect with her versatility.

The reasons to be optimistic about Plunkett's long term potential continued into the summer when watching her play 17U ball with [program_tooltip program_id='716211' first='Team' last='Griffin']. She more then held her own and continued to change games on both ends of the court. On defense, she can be a high level rebounder, swat shots and also cover guards. There's a lot of reasons to be excited to see if Plunkett can make the leap as a junior and help the Titans to another State Tournament appearance.

One of the few 2026s already to make her college decision (Nebraka Kearney), Jackson has two more seasons at the prep level to keep the high level tradition of Edmond North basketball going. After scoring in spots as a sophomore, her spring and summer performance indicate that she's ready for a bigger role. While also likely still doing it at an efficient clip. Jackson is a skilled slasher, who has good body control and takes high percentage looks. Along with the increase in scoring, expect her to continue to be a blue collar worker on defense with a nose for the ball. As a hard hat might as well be required to earn playing time for the Lady Huskies.

A lights out shooter, who is ticketed for a bigger role for the Class 3A Lady Wildcats of Bethel. Gascon consistently caught the eye of the PGH network this spring and summer. When given spot up opportunities, she'll still shine as a rhythm shooter who can string together makes in a hurry. And now will have more of a chance to show off her heady lead guard skills. With a chance to have the offense flow through her, Gascon looks set to make the most of her new opportunity.

Yokley is a Swiss Army Knife of a wing, who could be considered a bit of a point guard as well. She was impressive during grassroots viewings and now will be filling the shoes of her big sister and other graduated Rams. Yokley isn't going to "wow" with speed, but she's skilled, understands angles and is crafty on both ends of the court. The poise and confidence she plays with it is obvious and it extends to her tenacity on the defensive end and as a rebounder. It's hard to poke a hole in her game, and expect her to keep rising as the production ramps up for the Rams.
