<p><strong>North Charleston HS</strong>: The Lady Cougars finished (1-17) last year. Times have been tough since winning a state championship back in March 2020 over Christ Church. </p>

<p><strong>Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mount Pleasant)</strong>: The Lady Landsharks have plenty of talent back this season. Left-handed senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='496223' first='Ella' last='Mae Schepp']</strong> leads the way from behind the three-point line. Schepp received a few scholarship offers this past summer and fall. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='496228' first='Josie' last='Hanks']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='688841' first='Henley' last='Hanks']</strong> provide plenty of help from the perimeter. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='688645' first='Ella' last='Hunter']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='932684' first='Lauren' last='Hagmeyer']</strong> will provide the Lady Landsharks a solid nucleus back for Head Coach Mandy Harrison. </p>

<p><strong>Palmetto Christian Academy (Mount Pleasant)</strong>: Senior small forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='255967' first='Cokey' last='Suddeth']</strong> is back for her final season here at PCA. Suddeth averaged 24.4 ppg and 11.4 rebounds last season for the Eagles (16-7). Cokey starts her senior season with 1,538 career points and 672 rebounds. Cokey has really taken her game away from the post and out to the perimeter since her career started. She also excels on the volleyball court in the fall where she just finished her 7th season for the Lady Eagles. </p>

<p><strong>Philip Simmons HS</strong>: The Lady Iron Horses finished (13-10) a season ago. Left-handed forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1045318' first='Kenira' last='Holmes']</strong> is back after averaging 9.5 ppg and 7.8 rebounds. Post player <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='555430' first='Germany' last='Moore']</strong> chipped in with 8.6 ppg while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='945429' first='Harper' last='Cohen']</strong> will add some help from the backcourt this season. </p>

<p><strong>Porter Gaud</strong>: The Lady Cyclones will rely on senior forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='460544' first='Perry' last='Chambers']</strong> for direction this season. Chambers who likes to play out on the perimeter stands at 6-foot-3. Perry can stretch the defense with her shooting and follow it up on the defensive end with her shot blocking and challenging shots. Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='460545' first='Grayson' last='Hariri'] </strong>will bring some toughness to the backcourt. The Lady Cyclones compete in SCISA Class 4A. </p>

<p><strong>Stall HS</strong>: The Lady Warriors finished last season at (15-12) under Head Coach Donta Brown. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='305506' first='Brianna' last='Williams']</strong> is back after averaging 11.9 ppg. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='378101' first='Logan' last='Collins']</strong> joined the team last season for a handful of games before the end of the season. Collins a senior was currently at Lucy Beckham HS. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1045454' first='Tamiyah' last='Spillers']</strong> a junior combo guard averaged 7 ppg last season. The Lady Warriors will have plenty of production from the backcourt. Who will help them in the front court? </p>

<p><strong>St John's HS</strong>: The Lady Islanders finished (10-12) last season down on John's Island. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='840355' first='Daeshia' last='Buford']</strong> is back to lead the way after averaging 16.2 ppg last season. The Lady Islanders had two players averaged double digits in rebounds in <strong>Jasmyne Robinson</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='387009' first='Kennidra' last='Robinson']</strong> back. </p>

<p><strong>Wando HS (Mount Pleasant)</strong>: The Lady Warriors finished (15-13) last season in Class 5A. Wando HS returns plenty of players with varsity experience to the hardwood this season. Senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='759545' first='Isabel' last='Waite']</strong> is back after averaging 9.5 ppg last season. Left-handed junior wing <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='280466' first='Malaya' last='Mazyck']</strong> averaged 7.7 ppg and 3.9 rebounds last season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='651708' first='Mya' last='Andrus']</strong> will provide some production around the paint area after averaging 7.9 ppg last season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='635480' first='Selah' last='George']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='761895' first='Sadie' last='Andrus']</strong>, <strong>Mackenzie Eikenberry</strong> and youngster <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='992477' first='Makenna' last='Reynolds']</strong> all should help out this season with the Lady Warriors.</p>

Simmons is a member of the 2029 Palmetto State Class. </p>
