As we get into the high school season these next few weeks, we are going to start to see more and more offers or commitments out of prospects. This is a normal trend for this time of the year as a lot of players are taking visits on campus and doing what they can to lock in their futures.

In our last Player Rankings Update for the 2025 Class in Iowa, we had [player_tooltip player_id='525596' first='Rysaiah' last='Sitzmann'] stay within the Top 100, displaying that she is someone that could make some waves at the collegiate level before you know it. Following that update, Sitzmann took a visit and received another offer to compete at the next level from Doane Women's Basketball out of Nebraska. Doane's program is one that is on the up and up these past couple of years, as they try to really break through to become a powerful threat within their conference moving into the future. This is not Sitzmann only offer at this time but it's one of her best in my opinion. It'll come down to where feels like home but having options is never a bad thing. She just needs to evaluate what she wants out of the college experience and the rest will be history.

[player_tooltip player_id='1044965' first='Tylee' last='Weite'] is one of the state's premier prospects out of the 2027 Class and she keeps on receiving a lot of love from the college levels as it pertains to her recruitment. As of most recent, Weite has taken visits to Illinois State and St. Thomas, receiving official offers from both programs. This is a prospect that is only going into her Sophomore season at DSM - Valley and her future is extremely bright. By the end of her high school career she is on pace to have about 15-20 Division-1 offers and that is something she should be extremely proud of.

Omaha Central High School is going to look for production this Winter after losing a lot of their previous production from years past due to graduation. Someone that is going to have a chance to step up in major ways is SG - [player_tooltip player_id='898780' first='Carys' last='Dawson']. Dawson is someone that can get hot in a hurry from deep on the offensive side of the ball, while being a stout defender in both the half and full courts. This is also a prospect that I would consider a gamer and leader. She understands what she does best and how she can impact her team in the biggest ways, whenever she is on the floor and that awareness will translate in major ways to the next level, if that is her prerogative. As of most recent, Dawson was just offered by St. Mary's College to compete at the next level. I'm sure she will have to do her due diligence and visit the campus but this is a viable option for Dawson at this time.

Another high-end prospect out of the 2027 Class in Iowa, that continues to get a lot of love is [player_tooltip player_id='777232' first='Melina' last='Snoozy'] of Bishop Heelan High School. Snoozy recently received an offer from Creighton out of Omaha to continue on her basketball journey. This is a big offer for Snoozy for a couple of reasons. Ideally because a lot of talented prospects are committing to the Bluejays program out of Iowa and Nebraska as of recent. I'm not sure if Snoozy will eventually follow this trend but this is definitely a great option for herself moving forward, even though I'm sure the offers will continue to come in over her next few years of competition.

One of the state's top uncommitted prospects is PG - [player_tooltip player_id='957826' first='Mia' last='Greve'] of Interstate 35 High School and she just scooped up another offer to compete at the next level from Morningside out of Sioux City, Iowa. Greve would be considered a quick and agile PG, that can get down the floor in transition in a hurry. She is someone that is a selfless passer whenever she is attacking her opponent and she is always willing to sacrifice for the good of her team. Almost every smaller school around the Midwest has offered Greve at this point so now it'll just come down to where she wants to end up. I have a feeling that her commitment is coming prior to this Winter season kicking off but who knows.
