As we get into the high school season these next few weeks, we are going to start to see more and more offers or commitments out of prospects as it has to do with their college recruitment. This is a normal trend for this time of the year as a lot of players are taking visits on campus and doing what they can to lock in their futures.

Westwood High School and Swarm AAU basketball has a productive prospect on their hands in 6'0 SF, [player_tooltip player_id='595154' first='Brenna' last='Johnson']. Johnson has been someone to know the past two years on the Varsity floor because of her production. On both sides of the basketball Johnson has consistently put up respectable numbers, usually leading the game by the end of it with her scoring and rebounding abilities. Prior to this Fall, Johnson had some interest and some offers to continue on with basketball following high school, the most recent coming from Northwestern Women's Basketball out of Orange City, Iowa. I'm sure this offer gives Johnson some added motivation prior to her Junior campaign. I don't expect her to commit at this time but more-so, later down the line in the future following this high school season.

The future potential of [player_tooltip player_id='817523' first='McKenzie' last='Lewis'] of Benson High School is something to note moving into her Sophomore season with the Bunnies. Lewis has already had some collegiate interest because of her mixture of size, athletic ability, touch on the basketball, coordination, and skill-set out on the floor. The most recent offer being from Lincoln University out of Missouri. Lincoln University is a program that competes out of the D2 division and each year they are considered a top HBCU throughout the Country at their level. Lewis has the potential to be a D1 basketball player. Her natural height and skill-level is impressive for her 2027 Class and that's why she is a Top 10 rated recruit at this moment in time.

The amount of offers that the Valley sisters are receiving is nothing short of noteworthy, prior to their Senior season at Hampton-Dumont-Cal High School. The PG positioned player out of the two is Brooklyn and I'm sure she is excited at how much recognition they are receiving with these offers/interest. Brooklyn has the ability to create for herself or others in both the half and full-courts, she has a solid handle, an act for being in the right place at the right time, she communicates well, and she has some raw skill that she could build on in college. Both of these sisters WILL be competing together at the next level so now it's just figuring out what place really feels like home to them, as a group.

[player_tooltip player_id='502092' first='Brynlie' last='Hadenfeldt'] just took a Fall visit to Hillsdale College out of Michigan this past week, eventually receiving an offer before that visit came to a close. This is Hadenfeldt's biggest offer to date as Hillsdale is a D2 program but I don't think it'll be her last. On several occasions I've told coaches that Hadenfeldt is a "junk-yard dawg" - type prospect. She has solid size, she is physical in every way imaginable, and she is willing to do ANYTHING for others around her to shine. That's something everyone loves to see from an outside perspective. No matter if you are recruiting her or even coaching against her.

When it comes to the SG position, you have the other half of the Valley sisters and that is Jordan. Jordan is more of a SG in this situation, who plays off of the creation of her sister at the Point position. In reality these two sisters could move around and switch positions, while still yielding some positive results in the grand scheme of things but on the high school floor, Jordan is someone that seems more comfortable playing off the ball. Don't get it mixed up though, just because she likes to be off of the ball doesn't mean that she can't handle the Point. She could if need be and that's a nice ability to have.

[player_tooltip player_id='896461' first='Mya' last='Hillers'] was recently mentioned in an article as someone that we need to talk about more moving into her Senior season. Hillers, is a multiple sport athlete, that is going to have a chance to play multiple sports in college. As of most recent for Hillers, she has received an offer from Simpson College (IA) to continue on both the Basketball court and Softball diamond. Its not every day that you see someone competing in two sports for their collegiate career but it could happen her. If Hillers had to pick, I think she would stick with Softball as she seems like a real killer on the diamond but who knows? I'm sure we will have our answer to her commitment soon enough.
