Fall Rankings Update: 2025 SFs

A couple of weeks ago, we released the updated rankings for the Class of 2025. With 235 players now either ranked in our Top 100 or a part of our 135-person watch list in 2025, I wanted to take the time to highlight a few girls from each position group. Below is a look at the small forwards and the 47 ladies included in this specific group, followed by some analysis on a handful of those prospects.    .    Myla is an extremely long, wiry-strong wing prospect who has been a good one for some time now. She has always been a playmaker who likes to create offense, and as she has gotten older, she's become even more of a distributor. She plays with a nice motor, she'll do a lot of the "little things" to help her team, and she is a versatile defender. She is a part of a State Championship soccer program at Memorial, and she has turned her attention to soccer the last couple of years. Rumor is she's looking for soccer opportunities for college.     Lexi is another long, wiry-strong forward who continues to get stronger and more physical each year. She is a nice North/South athlete and even has a little bounce to her. What I like most about her is that she can be physical inside, play around the mid-post, and be productive, or she can step outside, consistently knock down the 3-pointer, or handle it a little and attack. She plays with a very nice motor, plus she is a versatile defender. At this point in time, she has several nice small college offers to choose from.     I am anxious to see Maine again this Winter, as she unfortunately missed a lot of time due to a knee injury, including this Spring and Summer grassroots season. She is a strong, physical, extremely hard-working forward. She is one of those kids who grew early on, but she did a nice job of building her perimeter skillset, plus she works hard at the defensive end of the floor so she can earn minutes. I think the combination of her work ethic and her understanding of the game make Maine someone small colleges would enjoy.     Grace was playing at New Albany the last couple of years, but her father took the boys' coaching position at Jennings County this Fall, so she is now at JCHS. Each time I've seen Grace play, she has always been a high IQ, skillful wing. She can handle it a little, she shoots a nice ball from the perimeter, and she does a lot of the "little things". She is long, and she understands how to take angles defensively. I think she is better defending wings than smaller, quicker guards, though. She could be a really nice "culture" kid for a small college program.     Zyann had a strong Spring and a solid June & July this year. She has gotten stronger, she has broad shoulders and length, plus she's a nice North/South athlete who can absorb contact going to the basket. Where I felt like she stood out was shooting the ball from the perimeter. She was able to string together multiple shooting streaks in games. Zyann also has some toughness and physicality to her game, and she rebounds her position well. I think she's someone who could really step up for Snider this year following graduation losses.
