The 695Hoops Fall league is winding down and week 7 was one of the best weeks we've had so far. There were several exciting games and here is a look at some of the notable performers.

[player_tooltip player_id='433964' first='Brooklyn' last='Stewart'], Roland Park, 2027, Guard

Roland Park won handily over Western and a big reason for that was the play of sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='433964' first='Brooklyn' last='Stewart']. Brooklyn is one of the best shooters in the DMV and her shot keeps improving. She showed off a really quick release on her way to 20 points. She's especially dangerous from the corners and if defenders run her off the line she has a nice mid-range game as well. I like her transition game where she is very efficient and patient. She has exceptional speed but plays at her own pace and rarely gets sped up.

Lucy Soden, Bryn Mawr, 2026, Guard

Lucy is a tough, athletic guard with a high motor and willingness to mix it up in the paint. She's a good shot maker with range out to the three-point line. She does a lot for her team on both ends of the floor and she finished this game with a team high 10 points.

Khloe Stewart, Forest Park, 2028, Power Forward

The six-foot freshman was instrumental in Forest Park's win over Bryn Mawr. She was a force on the boards and provided stellar interior defense. She finished the game with 5 points and 9 rebounds. She has a lot of potential and should get a lot of minutes this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='455389' first='Mariah' last='Hardy'], 2025, St. Timothy's, Wing

Mariah continues on her path back from her shoulder injury that has kept her sidelined for a while. She was the difference in their win over Howard as she scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She has expanded her range out to the three-point line and is showing a lot of versatility in her game. She's been handling the ball and making good decisions and providing leadership for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='897827' first='Jaelyn' last='Peters'], Spalding, 2027, Wing

Jaelyn's transfer in from Mount Hebron looks to be going smoothly. She is providing a lot of intangibles for her new team and is looking more comfortable each week. She's long and athletic and has a high basketball IQ. She's a good communicator on defense and has guarded multiple positions effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='569087' first='Mariah' last='Jones-Bey'], Pikesville, 2026, Point Guard

Pikesville was in an early struggle with an up-and-coming Notre Dame Prep squad, but thanks to Mariah they were able to rally and pull away late. Mariah led everyone with 15 points and went on a nice second half scoring binge to tilt the game. She knocked down a three, but most of her damage was done in the paint on drives to the rim.
