One exciting thing about watching the Fall Leagues around the State is seeing some of the new players on the court and assessing how these young players will affect their new teams. We also will get to see how they will impact girls' basketball in their respective. districts and conferences. In this article, we look at some of these young players and a glimpse of the future of Girls' basketball in the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='996776' first='Sage' last='Pytel'] is another young player who really played well over the weekend in the Fall League. Pytel is a feisty player who brings energy to every play on both sides of the floor and plays well. Offensively, the young guard can shoot from the outside at a very consistent rate. Pytel had some nice threes from the corner and shot it well from all over the floor. Her ability to Shoot the three earned the defense's respect and she used that attention to put the ball down and take it to the rim. She has some craftiness to her game and can finish with a little flare. Pytel's athleticism and speed were on display. She will be a player to watch this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1044108' first='Quinn' last='Indelicato'] Is a young point guard I'll be watching this year. She might be the fastest basketball player in the Girls' basketball program at Episcopal. She can pick them up and put them down. And her basketball IQ is really impressive. Indelicato has the ability to convert steals to baskets in transition and showed elite speed with the ball in her hands. She handles the ball well against pressure and makes the right reads on the floor. Not bad for an 8th grader who will be playing high school ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1044103' first='Rilee' last='Karbgo'] is a presence on the floor and showed some really good signs in the middle of the defense. Karbgo is still developing an offensive game, but she rebounds well and frees up her teammates at the top with solid screens. Karbgo does a good job of communicating on the court. She also was effective in passing the ball to her shooters on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1044106' first='Mattie' last='Thompson'] really looked imposing on the floor. Thompson is still developing on the offensive end, but she had some very impressive putbacks after securing the rebound. Thompson also was a presence on the defensive end with some key blocked shots and denying the ball in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='1044114' first='Genesis' last='Sanchez'] brought the energy and gives Tocoi Creek a young athletic guard who could cover some of the opponent's top guards. Sanchez played some very good on-the-ball defense and she kept things uncomfortable against the opposing guards. Offensively, Sanchez can attack the rim. She rebounded well from the guard position, she passed well, and she got to the room and scored a few layups.

[player_tooltip player_id='755319' first='Audrey' last='Rollins'] was on the courts this past weekend doing what she does best - shoot the three. Rollins connected from threes all over the court and did a good job of attacking the rim. She was the leader on last year's team, and this year, some of her younger teammates will be right beside her- handling the ball and scoring buckets.
