<p><strong><em>Player to Watch: </em></strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1054256' first='Abbey' last='Dugan'], a 5'9" shooting-guard that competes on both ends of the floor. Dugan possesses great instincts and active hands. Offensively, Dugan has the ability to create off the dribble and draw a second defender.</p>

<p><strong><em>2023-24 Recap</em></strong>: Robertson (20-8, 6-0) -- No. 2 seed in 3A State Tournament -- Elite Eight Exit 41-39 (L) vs No. 7 St. Michael's</p>

<p><strong><em>Players to Watch: </em></strong>The Cardinals will be led by [player_tooltip player_id='968109' first='Arianna' last='Martinez'] and [player_tooltip player_id='814473' first='Alyxa' last='King-Greenwalt']. Martinez, who is now a freshman, had a stellar year in 2023-24. The All-State guard averaged 10.5 points -- on 44/38 shooting splits with 38 3PM -- 2.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game. As for King-Greenwalt, she posted 8.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals as a junior. King-Greenwalt shot 43 percent from the floor, providing Robertson with much needed relief points around the basket and steady play in the interior.</p>

<p><strong><em>Players to Watch: </em></strong>Returning for the Sundevils are freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1068213' first='Madlyn' last='Dopson'] and junior [player_tooltip player_id='1056557' first='Maddy' last='Weisler']. As an 8th grader, Dopson averaged a smooth 11.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 3.0 steals with 37 'treys'. As for Weisler, she averaged 6.9 points per game to go along with 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals during her sophomore year.</p>

<p><strong><em>Players to Watch: </em></strong>Senior [player_tooltip player_id='814504' first='Sofia' last='Trujillo'] who averaged 7.8 points and 1.5 steals this past season as a tertiary option and recipient of broken plays. However, Trujillo is expected to be one of the primary options for the Hilltoppers this season. The a 5'4" combo-guard should have the ball in her hands more often and see an uptick in shot attempts. </p>

<p><strong><em>2023-24 Recap</em></strong>: Valencia (19-12, 5-3) -- No. 8 seed in 4A State Tournament -- Elite Eight Exit 50-34 (L) @ No. 1 Kirtland Central</p>

<p><strong><em>Players to Watch: </em></strong>The Jaguars are led by [player_tooltip player_id='391108' first='Jadyn' last='Montoya']. A multilevel scorer who averaged a commanding 20.6 points per game with 58 3PM on 43/34 shooting splits. Furthermore, Montoya averaged 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 3.1 steals, affecting the game in more than one way. [player_tooltip player_id='648209' first='Jaiden' last='Montgomery'] is also a key player for Valencia. Montgomery put up a respectable 9.9 points -- on 40 percent shooting -- and 7.1 rebounds this past season.</p>

The Wildcats will need Aguayo to have a big year in 2024-25, a task she is well suited for.</p>
