[player_tooltip player_id='514522' first='Morgan' last='Cremen'] (cover) was clutch down the stretch in the tournament. As the game hung in the balance, Cremen was a force on the defensive end, making timely steals and taking it back for the bucket. She also had some clutch drives to the rim. The Junior guard impressed many coaches with her speed and great anticipation. Cremen has a knack of stealing the ball and has been among the top in steals in the entire State as a Freshman and as a Sophomore. Only Yemise Haygood in Glenn Saint Mary has averaged more steals per game on the First Coast.

[player_tooltip player_id='647734' first='Laila' last='Safford'] has shown a lot of improvement over the past few years. Safford made key plays down the stretch of a close game. She has great length and is learning how to protect the middle of the paint from the center position. Safford rebounded the ball well and was good at kicking the ball to her guards for the fast break or open jump shot. The young Safford is providing glimpses of things to come. She looks imposing in the paint with her great length and motor. Coaches rave about the work she is putting in.

[player_tooltip player_id='495953' first='Jiyah' last='Hamilton'] got to the rim and showed her quickness off the bounce. Hamilton is a playmaking guard who looks to get teammates involved. Hamilton can also shoot the short-range shot and the three-ball to offset her drives to the goal. Hamilton showed the defensive speed as usual. She has the speed and quickness to keep ball handlers in front of her and cutting off driving angles.

[player_tooltip player_id='430279' first='Jamison' last='Cardwell'] was The player of the game in the first game of the tournament, leading the team in scoring. In game 2, Jamerson didn't have her usual scoring game but did show a high basketball IQ and excellent court vision. Her strength is getting in the heart of the defense and creating scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='527277' first='Cami' last='Waters'] played great on the defensive side of the ball. Waters usually comes away with about 2 or 3 blocks per game that teams don't expect. Water's on-ball defense is good, and she generally bothers smaller guards with her height and length. Waters also does a good job of playing in the passing lanes and driving lanes and is very reliable with her help-side defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='819898' first='Kendall' last='Ruise'] of GHS showed some promise on the floor. She has very good speed and has the ability to break a defense down. Ruisebhas a good outside shot and connected on a few nice three-point shots for the contest. She also looks to pass to the open player when she attacks the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='933334' first='Shelby' last='Gaines'] continues to play well and excel on both sides of the ball. Gaines stood out at the Thanksgiving Classic, posting a double-double (12 points- 10 rebounds). Gaines has a versatile game and doesn't rely on just one facet of her game. She can shoot the midrange shot, shoot the jumper, attack the rim, score in transition, or score off of her defense. Gaines has proven to be one of the top young prospects on the First Coast.

[player_tooltip player_id='1092442' first='London' last='Thomas'] (Cover) was an impressive Freshman player to watch. Thomas has a lot of composure on the court to be so young and she definitely has “game”. Thomas handled the ball well and excelled going right or left; she ran the floor well; and she had some nice scores in the transition game. The young guard also connected from behind the arc and on the short midrange shot. Thomas played really well and the future is bright for this young prospect.
