The combination of long arms, rhythm, and ability that [player_tooltip player_id='336045' first='Sarah' last='Gatwech'] plays with has always been tough to matchup against from a defensive standpoint. When Gatwech is playing with her full confidence and in her bag, she is really tough to slow down. Her natural size, her ability to go either way while attacking, her touch to hit a finish at the rim or a floater, and her unselfishness keeps her as a tough read. Not to mention, her Lincoln North Star team is going to be loaded with talent once again so it's not like you can double her too often without paying for it but that's why most team's that see this program down the stretch, attempt to play zone against them in the half court. A strategy that doesn't usually seem to work for the opposition too often.

I would consider [player_tooltip player_id='336046' first='Jamyla' last='Gilmore'] of Bellevue East High School a Mismatch Nightmare because of her mixture of height at 6'2, her touch on the basketball, her coordination near the hoop, and her ability to matchup with anyone else physically near the rim. For Bellevue East, Gilmore will be a staple once again for her squad for her Senior season. Following this campaign, she will take her talents to D2- Drury, where I think that she will kill it for the Panthers in the grand scheme of things. Everything I mentioned above with even more experience is going to fair well for her on her basketball journey and who knows where that could take her at the end of the day.

This is going to be a crucial season for [player_tooltip player_id='757558' first='Halle' last='Dolliver'] for a handful of reasons but mainly because she is going to return off of injury. (If she returns at all that is.) Prior to this all happening over the Summer, Dolliver had the size, aggressive edge, motor, and heart to kill anyone standing in her way. As long as she comes back and her body lets her push her limits, I'm sure she will look like she never missed a beat. This is someone that is the definition of a Matchup Nightmare. I've seen her on the high school floor and I've seen her on the Adidas Circuit at a national level. It truly doesn't matter who she is lacing up against. Whenever she is out there doing her thing, she is handful. Period.

Gilmore thrived in the departments of Scoring and Rebounding as a Junior at Hampton High School last Winter and I expect that tread to continue this season. Gilmore might only stand at 5'9 but she is tough to match against with her mixture of agile movement, athletic ability, and awareness out on the floor. Honestly, over the past three seasons, Gilmore has been a constant in these categories on her team and within her conference. She has always been a tough player to match with and to plan against, from an opposing player perspective and that shouldn't change over the next six months.

[player_tooltip player_id='315778' first='Neleigh' last='Gessert'] of Millard West has been the #1 prospect in her Class for years now and that is for a reason. Gessert is a 6'0 SG, that has length and ability to a high degree. She can knock down a shot from almost anywhere on the court, she can score against smaller opponents with her back to the hoop in the paint, and she can create/facilitate at a higher rate than most as well. Defensively, she can stay in front of speedy guards or she can wall against bigger post players. On the other side of things, it's very hard for one player to stay in front of her defensively. She is crafty in what she does, she keeps it simple, and all of that makes for a true Mismatch Nightmare for anyone who tries to stop her.
