Signing Day Update

A good number of the region's top talents signed their letter of intent to play for their respective schools they were recruited to. These young ladies have put in the work both in the classroom and on the court. They next level is something a lot of these girls have longed for since young ages. The hard work and dedication to obtain their goals doesn't go unnoticed. This is an article discussing some of the top seniors from yesterday's signing day. [player_tooltip player_id='987578' first='Tish' last='Blackwood'] (2025) | CG | Tilton   Southern Connecticut University here comes [player_tooltip player_id='987578' first='Tish' last='Blackwood']. A rugged and tough competitive player that's menacing on both ends of the floor. Blackwood finds ways to affect the game, regardless of where she's at. Tish uses her athleticism to get the upper hand on many guards that can't keep up. The Tilton guard signed yesterday with her 3 fellow teammates.     [player_tooltip player_id='1057791' first='Rachel' last='Lynch'] (2025) | 6'1 Center | Putnam Science Academy   The Ireland native has made a big impact on a new and improved Putnam Science Academy squad. Since touching down in New England, Lynch's hard work has been on full display. She's a strong based forward that does all the little things on the floor that lead to success. Rachel's strengths will allow her to thrive on the next level.     [player_tooltip player_id='987553' first='Mackenzie' last='Mori'] (2025) | 5'11 SG | Hamden Hall   The #5 shooting guard is headed to Maine to be a Blackbear. Mori is a tremendous floor spacer, that moves well without the ball and is a lights-out shooter. Mackenzie offers great size at the position plus she affects the game in many ways. Maine has a notable player coming next year that will translate.     [player_tooltip player_id='269256' first='Colleen' last='Phiri'] (2025) | 5'11 PF | Tilton   Collen has found a great home at Colgate where she'll be playing for Coach Ganiyat. Phiri's game is tailored for college. The size in combination with strength plus crafted offensive and defensive skills makes her the #1 player at her position. Colgate has a great prospect coming next year.     Tyanna Medina (2025) | 5'6 CG | Kimbal Union   Tyanna is a charismatic guard that offers a lot of offensive firepower. Medina lifts her team up with powerful scoring outputs that can shift the momentum of the game. The Kimball Union senior is headed to UMass Lowell to be a Riverhawk.     [player_tooltip player_id='278567' first='Maysen' last='Hill'] (2025) | 5'11 PG | St. Andrew's   Maysen is a top 10-point guard in a loaded class full of floor generals which speaks to her talent level. Hill's game comes easy to her by using her speed in combination with her length. She is one of the best at pushing the pace and keeping defenders backpedaling. There aren't too many players with more speed in a straight line with the ball in her hands. Maysen's control over the game is very influential and she will be a great addition for Fordham.     [player_tooltip player_id='296973' first='Olivia' last='VanPatten'] (2025) | 6'2 PF | St. George's   Olivia is an important piece to St. George's recent success. She's the #2 player at her position. VanPatten is a tremendous talent that makes the game uncomplicated for distributors. She is a major presence on the floor and makes herself available consistently. Vanpatten mixes it up from the 3, mid-post and from the block. The versatility she provides really separates herself from others. Hofstra has a fine player coming in.     [player_tooltip player_id='270722' first='Olivia' last='Rodrigues'] (2025) | 6'1 SG | Tabor   Olivia is the #1 prospect at her position and #6 in the entire class. She is absolutely phenomenal on both sides of the ball. Rodrigues is already dominate, but always improving on her game. Even when not scoring, she finds ways to have command over the game. Olivia's impact on the floor simply can't be replicated. The senior Tabor guard isn't going too far; she's headed to a loaded Providence squad where she'll find success.     [player_tooltip player_id='987487' first='Natalia' last='Hall-Rosa'] (2025) | 6'0 SF | Rivers   Natilia is the #4 ranked player in the entire class. There just simply aren't too many players more talented that also provide the level of production she does. One of the fiercest competitors there is in the region. Natalia has a high IQ and when combined with her gifts she packs a powerful punch on the floor. Hofstra has an elite player headed to play for them next year.     [player_tooltip player_id='428118' first='Maddison' last='Krug'] (2025) | 6'4 PF | St. Andrew's   Maddison has shown exponential growth in her game and has climbed the ranks a ton over the last year. Krug is coming in as the #6 player at her position. The determination Krug shows to get her team extra possessions stands out. She has a stellar midrange shot, defensive reflexes, a nose for the ball and rim protection make her a well-founded player. Krug will be headed to Lafayette next season.     [player_tooltip player_id='987493' first='Lindsey' last='Lemay'] (2025) | 5'11 SF | Tilton   The hard work and willpower Lemay demonstrates on a daily basis is sensational. Lemay is one of the best 2-way players in the entire class. An absolute defensive nightmare that offers a strong 3-point shot, especially from the corners and upbeat drives attacking the lane. She has been a tremendous stock-riser over the last year. Lemay is headed to Northeastern next year.     [player_tooltip player_id='368851' first='Kaila' last='Richards'] (2025) | 5'7 PG | Hotchkiss   Richards is a dynamic 2-way player that is a headache for opponents. A thorough playmaker that makes the players around her better. She also elevates the level of play when she is on the floor. Kaila has a plethora of moves and on the defensive side of the ball, she is a shutdown defender that usually picks up opposing teams' best perimeter player. The senior guard is a fantastic fit with Hotchkiss.     The #1 player at her position and a legitimate top 10 player in the class, Black is a phenomenally skilled. She'll be a wonderful addition to Vanderbilt. Her win-first attitude will serve well on the next level. Ava is the ultimate competitor that shows up consistently in big moments. Black will fit strikingly at Vanderbilt and will surely find success on the next level.
