Keep it live 25! Each and every year girls from this state have had the privilege to go on and play at the next level. It doesn't matter what level, but to say that you are a female college athlete, it's a big deal. Each year, college coaches seek out kids from our state that are the best fit for their program. I've said it time and time again, we have everything a college coach needs right between these borders.

It's an honor to see this senior class move on to the next level. I love the fact that you could click on ESPN or go to a nearby college game and see a Tennessee kid that grew up on the hardwoods in this state. My family is big time women's college basketball fans. My dad would sometimes call me and go “dang, so and so got away from a Tennessee school. Why is that?” Well dad, Tennessee Lady Vols got them one yesterday (More to come on that). What I love are the conversations though. In a few years we will all look back and say “do you remember so and so from this school did this against that team.” Mind you, we are watching them get after it on the television or keeping up with them online. There isn't a day that goes by where I am looking at a box score and checking out how a former girl from Tennessee is doing. It makes me proud because they are out there reppin our state and their former school.

It doesn't matter the year, each class is special. Some talent levels are different, but we send kids to college from this state. The class of 2025 definitely will go on as one of the top classes to produce some big-time college athletes. I mean when you have a lot of P4 kids at the top it's mighty impressive. This too also opens doors for other young ladies behind the class of 2025 to get scouted and scene as well. Coaches start to “dream on” kids, opening up an opportunity for future Tennesseans to hoop at their school. Case in point, everyone remembers Jaloni Cambridge, who now stars at Ohio State as a freshman. She torched the league in Tennessee for years prior to her spending her senior year down at Montverde. Well, I can tell you that we have another one within our borders who can hoop just like her. She isn't in high school yet, but she is doing Jaloni type things at a young age. Here's a hint, she goes to Ensworth too. My point is this, each year, coaches who recruit our kids one year, it also opens up other possibilities for the next group. Like I mentioned earlier, talent levels differ from year to year, but impressions stay the same as coaches are always looking for the next best thing out of our state.

I wanted to salute the class of 2025. Today marks the final year you all will be hooping on these hardwood courts. It's been an honor to follow you and here at PGH Tennessee, we will keep following you until you are ready to hang up your sneakers. You have fans all over. Family, Friends, even your nemesis from other schools. Everyone wants to see you do well at the next level. Just go out and compete, work hard, and control what you can control.

This year there will be tons of headlines highlighting the class of 2025 and rightfully so. These girls can play! I will say this, if you haven't signed yet and you are in the class of 2025, it's not too late. Your time will come. You haven't been discovered yet. With all the craziness that goes into recruitment and other factors you can't control, just keep grinding and your number will be called as well.

Without further ado, I would like to highlight some of the top girls in our state who will be going on to play at the next level. It is only fitting that I drop this recruitment update on opening night. Here are just a few names of kids who will be playing ball at the next level.
