[player_tooltip player_id='1044938' first='Elliette' last='Burkle'] of Woodward - Granger High School has stepped up the past year to be an avid producer on which-ever court she is performing on. Burkle would be categorized as a SG with an even scoring ability. She doesn't seem to favor one thing or another other, unless it's a situation where she needs to score for her high school program. From the looks of it, this is someone that will be on a top [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] for her grade level come Spring. If that's the case, it'll definitely be nice to see what she can do against some other high level competition. For now though, she has kicked off her Sophomore season on the right note.

It's always tough for younger prospects to see the floor in the CR - Xavier program but someone out of the 2027 Class, that can really do a solid job of playing both ends is [player_tooltip player_id='1057468' first='Cayleigh' last='O'Brien']. O'Brien has some pure skill on offense at the SG position, while she competes off of the basketball. Defensively, she is a hard worker, that understands where to be in all sorts of different moments. By the time that O'Brien becomes an upperclassmen, I'm sure she will receive constant Varsity minutes with her Saints program.

[player_tooltip player_id='1092817' first='Sophia' last='Meester'] of Mount Vernon High School isn't going to be as tall as her 6'2 sister and I think that will lead to compete at the SF/CG spot throughout her high school career. Meester has played some subtle minutes this Varsity season already in her team's 1-1 start. In most cases, she is usually coming in to compete at the 3 or 4 spot, depending on who else is on the floor next to her. This is another case where once Meester gets older, she will play more but this time it's because of how stacked their lineup already is. They return most players from last Winter and are a favorite to win their Classes State Title before this season comes to a halt.

Mason City High School has another big time producer within their program and that producer is [player_tooltip player_id='993993' first='Anna' last='Latham']. Lathan, a CG/SG, can get hot in a hurry from deep, she has some experienced ability to take her defender off of the dribble if need be, and she takes easy buckets when they are given to her at the rim. Defensively, she is someone that is willing to switch onto a smaller or bigger player in any situation, giving it her all in those specific situations. For Mason City, Latham will be a name we constantly bring up over the rest of her high school career. She set a solid foundation in place last Winter with her place and now she is ready to build on that moving forwards.

Norwalk High School is going to be a State contender this season for a few reasons. Most importantly - they should be undefeated moving into the Playoffs, if they take care of business. [player_tooltip player_id='993994' first='Keragan' last='Van Zante'] for this group is going to be a producer in years to come. To kick off this Winter, she is seeing the floor sparingly because of their experienced Varsity line-up. What Van Zante brings to the game is calculated play, active hands and feet, a willingness to learn from her mistakes, and some raw emotion. That won't be on full display at the Varsity level just yet but over-time. It should come out and shine.

The job on your team is not what you are best at. It's what your team needs out of you to be successful. It's fairly obvious that [player_tooltip player_id='1056799' first='Ava' last='Hocker']'s job this Winter will be to rebound and control the area's around the paint. Hocker has started both of her team's games on the way to their impressive 2-0 start. She isn't putting up huge numbers in the scoring department but she is still averaging 7-8 PPG and 5 RPG. Those two things alone, paired with the other three main producers she has around her, should lead Williamsburg to put together an impactful next three months.
