In this article, I will highlight a few combo guards on the list that are making an immediate impact this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='743669' first='Kenzlee' last='Terry'] is making a splash in her sophomore season for a Marshall County team that is off to a strong 7-2 start. She is second in points per game (14.4) and has been very efficient from long distance shooting 44.5% off of 55 attempts. Kenzlee has deep catch-and-shoot range and is proving to be a reliable shooter from the outside. Besides being a major factor for the Lady Marshals offense, she gets after it on the defensive end as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='747688' first='Kaydence' last='Kindle'] is on a early roll this season averaging team-leading 19.8 points a game for Murray. She is an elite athlete with a endless motor that allows her to make an impact on both ends of the floor. Her ceiling is the roof and I think she could legitimately become one of the top players in region 1.

The sophomore Shelby Valley star [player_tooltip player_id='747671' first='Sadie' last='Johnson'] is a player to keep an eye on in Kentucky this year. She is leading her team in scoring (21.2) and in rebounds (8.5) 4 games into the season. Sadie has good positional size and is extremely skilled. She does most of her damage in the paint, but can also be a scoring threat from the perimeter. Sadie is an impressive ball handler and a really good rebounder and passer in her own right. She holds an offer from the University of Pikeville.

Lefty combo-guard [player_tooltip player_id='649948' first='Jaelyn' last='Dye'] is leaving her mark at Southwestern. She is currently leading the team in scoring putting up 13 points a contest and is second in rebounds with 5 per game. She is a full package guard who does it on both sides of the ball. Jaelyn recently reached 1,000 career-points and I think good things are to come from her throughout the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='874506' first='Cami' last='Bickett'] is doing it all for Bullitt Central. She is putting up 22.4 points a game, which have been routine numbers for Cami so far not to mention her 34-point outing in the season-opener. She is a big-time scorer who will also buckle down and play defense. Her two-way play will be key for the Lady Cougars this season. She is averaging a team-leading 14.6 PPG, and 6.2 RPG, while shooting 80.6% from the stripe (21/26). Khmiah is a playmaking guard with a tight handle, and a quick first-step. She is most effective off the dribble, but is a very capable shooter from the perimeter. Khmiah is one to watch for in the 7th region.
