Here are five prospects out of the 2028 Class in Nebraska that have a whole lot of Length & Strength to their game. Each player should be someone that makes a Varsity impact over their next four years. They just need to find their place within their high school program's system and the rest should be history.

Marian High School returns a roster with a little bit of talent at all grade levels. From their Freshman Class, they have a few different players to know but the one at the Forward position that stands out is 5'10 - [player_tooltip player_id='899160' first='Josie' last='D'Agosto']. D'Agosto comes in as one of the taller players on this roster and she possesses some fundamental ability near the basket on both ends of the floor. Those two things should earn her some playing time this Winter at either the JV or Varsity level. From there it'll be fun to watch how things unfold. This could be someone who either really shows that she can dominate at the Forward spot or she will move to play more like a guard over time. Either way, it should be an interesting journey to follow along with.

[player_tooltip player_id='985175' first='Haley' last='Kress'] of Millard South is going to join the program this Winter as someone from the 2028 Class with long arms, quick hands, vision in both the half & full courts, and a smart head on her shoulders. Kress will compete at the SF/CG spot from what I've seen but over her career, wouldn't be surprised if she stayed more at the 2/3 with who will be positioned around her. This roster is a young one so I'm not sure who makes what team but over the next 4 years, you will hear about Kress within this system. She seems too solid already and that's about to show sooner or later.

Understanding the track record of Lincoln High the past few years, I would be surprised if [player_tooltip player_id='895541' first='Nyla' last='Jones'] saw a lot of times on the Varisty floor as a Freshman. How their system works, Freshman seem to be primarily stationed at the Sophomore/JV level if they are good enough right off the bat. Jones is a 6'0 Center, that just finished up a successful AAU season with her Missouri Phenom - Nebraska Hub program and she is looking to keep things rolling. In the small glimpses that I've seen, Jones is someone that I would not sleep on. She maybe young but she has promise at the Center/Power Forward position. She just needs to continue to work to unlock that potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='884235' first='Shayla' last='Rautenberg'] has proven over the past few months that she is an athletic power house, who is most likely going to be a Division-1 Volleyball player by the time that she ends her high school journey. Rautenberg would be considered a 6'1 Power Forward/Center, that is going to be a handful to deal with this Winter on the hardwood. Her play in 1v1 situations is going to be tough to handle because of her mixture of strength, athleticism, and situational awareness. To give you an idea, I think that this would be the case if she played for any high school in Nebraska. No Matter level or competition. This is the definition of a power-house player and it's going to be intriguing to watch her upcoming season unfold.

From the outside look of it, [player_tooltip player_id='884645' first='Brynna' last='Renard'] should be a player that gets a lot of Varsity time this upcoming season because of her height alone. Renard comes into her Freshman year at 6'1 and she is pretty coordinated for that size. Usually when you have prospects at this age and height, they aren't too coordinated but it's the opposite in this case. Renard has proven that she has a balanced mixture of coordination, footwork, speed, and knowledge of the game. With Lincoln NE, Renard will be one of the tallest prospects on roster this season so I'm sure she is going to be someone we hear more about as this season wears on.
